- I was so, so sad our son didn't make it home for Christmas due to a canceled flight, but we at least got to see him a few days later. I share some of the things I was given. Please tell me what you got and what made your Christmas special!

I spent the holydays with my mom, she's not very well, so i rushed to her. 1st time my partner had to be alone in years for the holydays, but he didn't complain. We had no drop of snow, and it was warm and sunny, it was around 15° Celsius. Still is warm, even saw many flowers bloom, even though their normal blossoming time is around march, was pretty and odd at the same time. I gues we'll only have summer and some sort of autumn colder days thing soon-ish. It was our 7th year of winter holydays without my grand parents.
I had my neighbor over for lunch and we had a good time. Not much in the way of presents, except one relative made a donation to the charity I volunteer at.
Happy New Year 💐🎉🐶 I just had my trip cancelled by Mr Joe after waiting 6 years. Disappointed. But will work something out. Who knows, right?! Stay safe. Go easy💜

He managed it👍I had a strained Christmas too. I got money as well, and bought playstation 5 for my teenage sons (16 and nearly 18) and a phone for my daughter (14). I too was very close with my Mum...Lost her in 2014 ..she was 94..How lucky was I to have her all those years...

I'm sorry you're son couldn't make it home. Very glad you didn't have a high plumbing bill. I did, unfortunately. I had eye surgery that morning and all I can think of is I turned the water I left dripping, off. It could've been worse! Trying to look on the bright side. 😎
Happy and Blessed New Year to you and yours. Glad that Eric was finally able to come and visit. Our Christmas Holiday was very nice. As usual it went pretty quick. There were several nice things that occurred but,one that was fun to watch is seeing our puppy go to the stocking and getting the toy out of the stocking. I got some greeting cards, two different ornaments, some tea and other things..I think the fleece style blanket side is called Sherpa.
Thats; the sort of friend who is priceless. Two of my best presents are a foot massager, great for my diabetic feet, and a pair of stone elves for the garden. The penguin pic is sooo cute.
Talking of frames, I made a wool felted Freddie Mercury for my friend who is a queen fan and he has put it in a frame with a pic of the band behind it. We have a train drivers strike in the UK so it was hit and miss for one daughter but she made it just after xmas. Im glad Eric made it in the end.

I’m sorry that you’re still having sinus problems that has been lingering a long time… I got some incredible cough drops from Amazon, very popular and they are selling out quickly bcuz they are working on the type upper respiratory infections that are going around.
Is Colloidal Silver and Manukau honey minty and strong enough to knock that infection down… if you can find them, get several packs… this “flu” isn’t going away easily and keeps spreading… it’s worth a try! I’m sure this Christmas was pretty hard for you as its the first one without your mother.😢 blessings to you and your family… and I can’t wait to hear more about your romance…hilarious stuff!
Oh… when my sister was shopping at Costco she needed to get a large frame for several photos she wanted to put together… her younger daughter was wanting something for herself but money was tight and all my sister had was just enough to buy the frames… jenny was angry and sulking bcuz she wanted something for herself and my sister said NO… jenny kept mumbling about how stupid it was to buy that frame and she was throwing a tantrum about how stupid her mom is for buying that frame bcuz we didn’t know any of those people that were pictured in that frame… oh the funny thing about what kids think…
