Pep guardiola is one of the most influential football manager i have ever seen. When he started from barcelona, not only barca he influenced the spanish national team. So spain successfully lifted euro and world cup trophies. Then, he went to munich, Germany also lifted world cup. Not only trophy but also performed a wonderful and memorable world cup football match especially they beat brazil 7-1 in the semi final match. And nowadays, since he joind man city english national football team grow up year by year. We see in the last world cup they reached semi final. In my opinion, when pep joined different football clubs in different countries his success and achievements were not only for his clubs but also for the countries respectively. I wish him best luck for his future.
As if Pep would tell them how he would‘ve played against his side
Steven Sterling well, Klopp obv knows how to...
that is true but i think when we played liverpool we missed one important thing.....a left back....a lot of times delph was exposed by the RW and i think had mendy been available some results MAY have been different
yellow prick exactly, that’s the main problem in Guardiola’s tactics, quality counters. And it’s been like that since Barça, even more in Bayern and here again. That’s what has stop Guardiola to become the best manager in history.
yeah but only a few sides have the players and manger capable of producing that style of football. Plus liverpool can only turn that style on a couple of times a season, as it is too demanding. Showing why liverpool are more of a cup team.
+yellow prick: True....last season Liverpool were our only Kryptonite, and will be this season as well..Basically they played just like us and we didn't like it, and beat us at our own game....smothered our passing, and didn't give us time to think. We were beaten by them on 3 out of 4 occasions that I can remember....

As an arsenal fan, people says that pep needs money to win. I'm not denying or saying that he needs money to win, but his intelligence to know who he wants is very good
Every manager needs money to win.
The more money you have, the easier it is to ensure the quality of the players you buy is high.

A Q' you must be united fans, enjoy your time with mourinho boring football :)
Buying a ferrari doesn't make you a better driver. Just because you have money and buy talented players doesn't mean you win titles and become a great manager either. Money = oppertunity, not success.
Love how well Pep does his research. Knows about Gary and Jamie's careers and in every press conference can speak about City's history (e.g. Colin Bell). GOAT manager
Please someone see this, mans talking about gundogan knowing he can score goals as a late arriver in the box🙌🏾 he knows his players

Crazy to hear about how highly he rated Foden back then n how he talked about Gundogan's ability to time his runs perfectly into the box. And now look at them, Gundogan currently scoring goals for fun n playing at a world class level while Foden is constantly improving and looking like a real talent for the foreseeable future

I’m a United fan, and I love listening to Pep talk. At the core of his conversations is simple football at its best. He could coach the worst team in the EPL into champions.
yeah + £1billion pound yeah i agree
He's a genius. I knew the moment when he was around finishing his first 10 games for FC Barcelona in 08/09 season. We Barca fans could instantly feel this great change in the team and knew we were going to redefine the football on how it has to be played! Pep didn't just do that but won all the accolades and trophies there were to win and that too in some style with beautiful football at the highest level. We know Messi is a genius, a GOAT but believe me under Pep he flourished so much and so quick. People say it was a golden generation of Barca that Pep coached but let me tell you Iniesta was still very underrated, Busquets was hardly a name people knew out of Spain, brought Pique back to Spain, got rid of Ronaldinho etc, kept useful players like Sylvinho, Belleti, Marquez, Milito etc... He simply made them sooo much better and instantly turned them into world class players because of the style he plays in.
He just explained Sarri's major problem in about 3 seconds lol. Genius is an understatement

Fergie? The man was and still is Manchester United and they have fallen off the map without him.
I remember the days when watching his barcelona play, they suck the life right out of the opponents and their fans. And then they taunted them with tiki taka football after scoring 5 goals. Teams couldn't touch the ball. El classico's were perfect example. Ronaldo would give his best and still come out with nothing. He was even furious enough to push Guardiola. That's how hard it was for teams to play against Pep's team. Now i know how great it feels to be on Peps side.
Londzale Do you also remember that Ronaldo came there when they were killing everyone and fought like a man. And he has done it, they killed the golden generation and then pep ran away.
He pushed Pep because he threw the ball instead of giving it to him...
@@warrioroffpeace3673 No idea what you were trying to say there..
Ro Na you’re deluded
Not trying to be rude but you are confused as to what tiki-taka means. In fact, Guardiola doesnt like tiki-taka. But I understand what you mean. The possession based playstyle he uses and likes can be really boring to watch from time to time.

Pep is complete as a Boss...he make football easy for the players..proud for you Pep.
0:20 Jamie and Phil, you're welcome...
Rarely do you see Jamie and Gary listening so intently on what someone they're interviewing have to say.... Pep is something special... At Barca they said he inherited a great team... in Germany they said there's no competition... but he did it in England... I never thought his style would ever work in England but he did it... what I'm most amazed about is how he gets the best out of some of his players... I'm not talking about your Aguero, KDB, Silva etc. They were great players before pep... Pep somehow made Sterling look like a great player (he was awful at the WC) but playing for Man City he's so good (look at his goal against Arsenal)... how? the likes of Fernandinho... Delph... Stones... Otamendi... all pretty average players without the "system" but within the system they look like world class players.

Hope Mourinho 'Mr Pessimist' watched that interview. Belief, passion and commitment - major key to success in nearly all spheres of life.
when you buy 2 goal keepers in two seasons and change the full team to suit you, win the league with 100 points why will you not smile? Can you just watch the interview and enjoy it without reducing it into a Mourinho issue.
@@godwinyoh3700 How can I not turn it into a Mourinho issue when those two had the same career path? Both started as assistants for Mr. Van Gaal at Barcelona, were fierce rivals in la Liga and now in the EPL? It's inevitable my friend. One always moans and throws his players under the bus as the other works hard and is always behind his team. Difficult for me not to compare given the rivalry between the two Manchester clubs. Mourinho moulded the team in his philosophy as well spending over £400 millions over a span of two years but instead of being behind his team, he is actually working against them by critizing when there is no need to be. And i enjoyed the interview. It made me realise what it specifically takes to win the league with 100 points - by always being propitious, supportive of the team, taking risks, play attractive but simple football.
One has only managed teams which pump money into the team and the other has won the CL with clubs like Porto and Inter
so why has Klopp not won the league if optimism and passion is what it takes. We took Mourinho and put him in a box, Play Rashford, Play martial, Play Shaw, Play Lingard they are academy babies, play attack, play our way. Why go hire a world class coach that defends when you claim to have an attacking tradition in the first place which is a foolish assumption, i watched Ferguson and he lost lots of matches, Fergie was under pressure that his game was outdated when Mourinho came in to Chelsea and won the league 2wice, he stayed made a point with the last league he won and retires on a high then all becomes perfect in the media. The only players that are his material(physical die hard fighters) in that full squad are Matic, Valencia, Baily, Lukaku, Rashford if not for his "generous press mouth" Herrera the rest he is trying to manage a team of underachievers who know nothing about winning mentality. Guardiola will sell a player who doesn't pass the ball exactly as he wants, go find out what happened between him and Dante in Bayern . We will both agree Pogba needs to understand the time has come to step up and become a consistent player unlike when he was 23 years in the Italian league.
So feel free to admire Guardiola who last season was nicknamed "FRAUDIOLA" but now he is the king and the press loves him.
