Short-living Ethereal/Dreampop quartet from California, influenced by the music of the Cocteau Twins, Xmal Deutschland, Slowdive, Lush, Pale Saints, The Jesus & Mary Chain, and many others.
because most of the good so called shoegaze bands made their best music between 89 and 94, outside a handfull who were pushed by mtv before nirvana broke big the scene was almost compleatly ignored . i know its hard to believe but those big name bands ride, slowdive, lush etc didnt averege 1000 people at a show in the states in 92.
@@aaron1888 I saw Lush in 92 at the Palace in Hollywood, IIRC the show was sold out, capacity there was about 1k. Me and my broke underage friends snuck in through a side door during soundcheck and then hid out in the balcony until doors opened.
@@KedTaczynski i missed that show at the masquerade in atlanta but saw them in 94 at the point. there was a small club us promo tour maybe 8 dates first 2 weeks split was released in the us. they sold a few hundred tickets and gave away that many more through radio stations and other give aways. i call the radio station from a town 6 hours away and say im a dj and really want to see the band. the girl laughs and tells me if i would drive 6 hours she would have 2 waiting. so 3 weeks later i drive to atlanta and everything was there just as promissed. funny how much crazy shit like that would end up working out and no more than a brief phone call. great times
Saw Lush at Lee's Palace in T.O. around that time. Nobody else I knew was into shoegaze at the time. Was in my early 30s then but still felt like I was discovering a guilty pleasure.
Shoegaze is the gift that keeps on giving. I’ve only been listening since 2012, however it really helped shape my tastes with alternative music and artists from a bygone era.
omg, yes! i just heard this song for the first time tonite, and i instantly thought it was a cover. the verses totally sound like they were ripped from this song... probably just a coincidence, but still a bit crazy in its resemblance at times...
This song is for bed in winter and a cup of coffee with hot milk watching the rain fall through the window, it would be nice someone with you at this moment loves shoegaze dreampop and doesn't tell you I want to listen to Jennifer Lopez 🥱
we did it fellas
OZEAN FALL IS ON SPOTIFY
It's like Slowdive recorded this with Simon Raymonde from the Cocteaus playing the bass
Well put!
Agreed!!
I'm 65 years old and have just discovered this band.
This song is sent from heaven! Absolutely gorgeous❤
I've been listening to shoegaze since 2009!! How am I just now finding this glorious music??

Ohhh Lisaaaa
great band. i love going thru the YT to find the bands i missed when i was 25 (1993). it's retro future gazing for the soul.

Baby ima forever miss you💔
edit : i hate her
Guilty, i had a stroke at 24 and things felt really distant, didn't really want to be around anymore. For some crazy reason this is a reset.

How do Shoegaze, Slowdive and Ozean relate to each other? I have literally just stumbled across this and the comment section is very confusing to me.
Was this reuploaded?? I remember there being an upload of this song some years ago. Idk
I remember it. I think another UA-camr posted it, and it was removed for some reason.
I could play this after listening to some Pink Floyd.
Lisa was one hell of a beauty
Lyrics?
How can a song be so perfect and so underrated ??
Because each person are not the same
the song is now on spotify
She Reminds Me Of Marnie From LADYTRON!!!🎶❤️🔥🎵❤️
The bass player in this band steals the show every time. That constant driving line is so hypnotic
so lovely, the singer is on here on the compilation set
Thanks for the description! I now know where to look for music like this
But also, how are people not screaming this through the rooftops??
Good. Relaxation music that keeps you awake

Wow... hearing for the first time in 2021...Xmal Deutschland brought me here🔥

Doktrin von Retter oder Retterin ist vielleicht wie, alle umfassende Loesung an alles...
Protennoia, sie ist eine Retterin- nicht Sinn, aber Vor-Sinn, Traumen; auch ist Mirotheos...
Can someone please tell me the history of this band?
extraordinary
This song tell me (stop overthinking)
Always so beautiful, every single listen
Perfect
Sounds like "Boy with Apple"
