Very clean for 10 year old ride. Definitely a budget build. I would have at least spent the $350-$400 on a Wescott lift. At least it wouldn't be putting the suspension at risk of bottoming out on the struts in the front. Not a big fan of strut spacers. I like the slide out tray in the back, primarily because it makes a flat surface when the back seats are folded forward. It's long enough to sleep back there and avoid pitching a tent in bad weather
It’s funny you say that, because right when I installed my lift I wished I went the wescott route. They have awesome reviews and a good following. I have never tried sleeping in the back - it may have changed my mind!
I was thinking about your balancing issues. I was wondering if the KO2 and the PRO rims have an unknown compatibility issue. Engineers at Toyota use a very specific tire that was, I was told engineered specifically with the black oem PRO wheel in mind. That’s the nitto terra grappler. Nitto sells other versions of that tire, but make one specifically for that Toyota application. My Toyota dealer on the west coast, refuses to mount any other tire onto that specific rim. They say they’ve had too many balancing issues with other types of tires. At first I called b.s and thought the dealer is trying to force customers to stick with the factory tires they sell, however I keep hearing these balancing complaints. Not just KO 2’s but Geolander, Mickey Thompson, etc.
Woah - that is awesome insight. I brought mine to a reputable off road shop and they actually stopped carrying KO2’s because they had too many complaints of balancing. This lead me to believe it was the tires only. You could be right though with the duo ~ wheels and tires.
yeah i am and thats cool ive seen almost every 4runner come with the ugly silver one i think the trd pros come with gloss black but very few have matching factory colors im looking to buy one @@AJLoDato22

Had the same damn balancing issue with my KO2s 275s. I FINALLY got them smooth after a year and 30,000km and a 5th attempt at balancing.
I wish I could have gotten mine dialed in. The tires look so good, but it’s incredibly frustrating!
@@AJLoDato22 so frustrating. I’ve still got lots of life left on them but when they’re done I’m not sure what I’ll replace them with.
@@Treetopflyer777 I'm going with Nitto Recon Grapplers for my next build.

Yup I will get the whole list posted tonight in the description - stay tuned!
Did you get the ceramic tint done or yourself? What kind if you don't mind. Thanks!
The previous owner had it done. I believe it was Autobahn tint.
Super clean
Thank you!!
where in SC are you? would love that slide out tray if you want to just sell that
I did end up selling my 4runner. Sorry!
Might be a dumb question but how is your front valence a matching gray did it come like that?
If you’re referencing the lower bumper portion, it came from the factory light that.
