Get in your Honda.
@DerSpeziell Sorry, I own a RS3-R
@@kennyyu4581 Get in your Rs3-R
@@kennyyu4581of course you do.
Korean?
Thank you for a REAL video of the new RS3. So many sites have been showing renderings or amalgamations of other models. Im glad they went back to the older display, the newer steering wheel, the redone fascia, and obviously the torque vectoring adjustments.
@@mauricetoussaint7283don’t you dare trade it in !! 😅😅 the 8Y is by far the best looking out of all the recent models
I never considered the RS3 too much, because I thought it was too small. But I dunno, the more I look at it the more I like it. This one looks great, and I bet it’s incredibly fun to drive. Absolutely love those wheels too
fornt looks better imo, back looks strange
I like the pre-face lift better personally, particularly the back end & headlights. Plus the front grille looks too big visually for my tastes. But, this is a lot better than some of the other new designs at least. Just please go back to the old badging (Audi emblem + RS3 badge on the front)
Great cinematography, these shots are amazing
Agreed.
The new badging looks terrible, the 'italic' styling matching the red/white symbol was better...and no RS3 emblem at the front grille? It's a miss there.
@@Roddy_Zeh If and it is a big if I change my RS3 8Y for this, I'd just remove the shit badges and fit the same ones that are on my RS3. Simple, problem, solved.
@@luciussander8217 How was the one at the front grille fixated, just fitting? Or was it glued like the rear?
Interior looks much better and classy compared the the gti esque styling of the previous. Badges should be like they were, and the rear bumper much better imo instead having that tacky plastic mesh look. Overall an improvement.
Can you buy the RS badge online anywhere to put onto he grille?
Anything Audi, anything RS, a true legend ❤
Enjoy the channel!
Excited to see it
This is perfection
The facelift performance is slightly better (2% faster on a road course track) but the looks and everyday usability seem about equal. I think pre facelift buyers and facelift buyers will both be happy. Good job Audi. 🎉
Queen! Thanks to Audi for the regression with touch panels.. This interior is for me the best balance..
can't wait to see the performance
Eaxctly the same.
I think it's less about speed upgrades but more about handling capabilities. Supposedly the facelift model is able to take corners better than pre-facelift. Which was already pretty good.
@@NJRacer623 Just put decent tyres on it, which Audi never do. You got either P Zero or Bridgestones, which my RS3 came with. Both pretty poor. I've now got Michelin PS4 on the car and the grip and handling is transformed.
@@luciussander8217 Yeah tires make a big difference for sure
I'm ready to order mine! 👏👏👏
Good luck!
Wait until you see the price, you might be in for a shock. Audi have been adding 10k to their new RS models over the version they replace and this is just a facelift, NOT a new car.
The rear is well done better then the previous 8y. Overall, I like it a lot. Needs 450 hp though.
Doesn't need more power. I have an RS3 8Y, plenty quick enough for daily use.
Best looking RS3 yet. Makes the pre facelift already look dated
Quite the opposite. The face lift looks like older model. Look at that steering wheel, same as you get in a Peugeot! I kid you not! All the changes are to save production costs. Yet, price wise, it is now £10k more than the pre facelift was when I ordered mine. Unreal. People would be mugs to buy it, especially if like me you have the current version. Nothing I see temps me to get one. We don't even get the bucket seats in the UK. This is more downgrade than upgrade, especially given the price hike.
Outstanding video mate!🤩
The ideea of placing the car on the shallow water....GENIUS!!!😎💪
Congrats and keep up the good work you're doing! 🤝
All cars get placed on shallow water. But normally with a front end badge, which will be part of the RS pack on the RS3... 🙄
Why does the sportback get these carbon buckets and this one the leather RS seats?
@@PatRick-rm6dhJust different options.
Besides the lack of RS3 badging this is a really good facelift overall, it looks WAY more aggressive 😍 I don’t get the hate for the steering wheel either, it’s not the best they’ve ever made but it’s still pretty clean in my book.
I think the previous gen looked better. I don't like the front rings or the steering wheel. Glad they kept the trunk rings the same, those are the best looking now.
Been on the waiting list since Feb 2023, can’t wait to get mine now that I’m first in line at my dealer!!
July 2023 here, 2nd on the list! Can't wait. Have been searching 2025 Audi RS3 almost daily for a year
I was gonna buy the old one but I waited for the 2025 if I like it that might be my purchase
@@RxngerRxptor it doesn't seem like anything changed electronically or mechanically. Just updated looks
@@crheming yeah that’s what I realized
@@crheming It's just a facelift. Things they should have changed, they didn't. Just wait for the price, bear in mind the new S3 costs almost as much as the current RS3, so expect this to be £70k fully optioned. In which case, good luck selling that.
The front grill takes up the entire front end (again). The exhaust area of the rear end looks out of place and almost bulbus. The interior has way too much going on. Piano black center area with no physical shifter again. A squircle steering wheel? Touch capisitive buttons? But why?.... lights are cool, though.
Can’t wait to get this ordered Wednesday. Hopefully they cope better with orders than the previous one.
Good luck! Dont forget to order the front badge lol
Well mine took nearly two years to come. Only got it last May and ordered it in September 2021! Since the face lift is ten grand more than my carbon sportback with the RS pack... nope. Rep called me last week, not interested. Ten grand more, for the same car with more cheap bits added, you gotta be kidding. I've only done 6k in mine, it's still as new. Audi have fucked up and then some with the pricing on this. If you go carbon vorsprung, add ceramics and exclusive colour, that's £80k. I just bought a Porsche 718 GT4 for £81,990 with just over 1k on the clock, which just demonstrates the greed in Audi. No way I'd pay that much for an A3 with a good engine, as that's what it is. It's not about affordability, as that's easy for me to finance, it's about paying so much for something that's barely premium. My new toy is on another level in terms of quality compared to my daily, the RS3.
@@luciussander8217 ok
Unfortunately, as with the previous RS3, this will only look decent in black.
And how terrible does that steering wheel look? The airbag cover in that cheap plastic material(make it leather with some nice stitching) and those silly haptic buttons ... These mistakes shouldn't be happening in 2024, especially being a high priced Audi ...
Black, the worst colour you can get. Never looks clean, shows scratches and swirls and gets too hot in summer, plus, boring. My RS3 is tango red, looks bloody awesome and a lot of people agree on that.
@@luciussander8217 even though black is my favourite colour I have to agree with you lol my car is never clean ;(
Terrible steering wheel truly
@@luciussander8217 Scratches and swirls on black paintwork are due to incorrect washing techniques. I've owned black cars before and never had an issue with the paint. That is down to owner maintenance. When black is clean, it definitely looks the best.
Black is the most boring color for an RS3. It hides all its line and the overall black or carbon accents
I’m happy with my Sportback in Daytona Grey 😃🥰
🔥
I love my 8Y because it looks most like the LMS TCR, they both share the honeycomb grill / strip and shape of front side intake.
Incrivelmente bonito.
Everytime all new cars came with piano black, more and more. These pieces does not have a good life over the years and scratches appears you wash them, no matter what. Still like the dimensions, rims, and motor line. I will ever miss old school interior finishings of Audi, which used to be unique.
bought my car new and owned it since 2020
no micro swirls or scratches
90% of people dont know how t o properly wash their cars which is why they get scratched up
just tells me youre one of them
more people damage their cars just from washing them
i like it it looks futuristic.
Love the new wheels. Hopefully can get those in Canada; we don't get nearly the options they do in Europe
Horrible, and try cleaning them... hopefully, these are an option and there's better on offer.
Current 8y owner, I think the only thing I that surprised me is the new design of rear bumper & diffuser. To be honest, it looks much better than the 8y
Hopefully they bring it back to Canada. I loved my 2019 RS3. As it is no longer sold here in Canada I replaced my 2019 with a 2023 M2.
Not a fan of the new RS3 badge or the rear diffuser. Everything else is fantastic (and yes, even the steering wheel).
I like the previous steering wheel but them dynamic buttons make up for it
Am I the only one that thinks the new steering wheel is disgustingly ugly?
It’s nothing new, corvette and cybertruck have similar one. It’s supposed to be more racier idk.
I think so too 😖😣
Its a race car, get used to it
@@ElSumero with a steering wheel from a Lada Samara?
Look like a toy
what is this color? is it the kemora grey
just ordered one :) these days. upgrade from a s3 PreFaceLift. honestly, now(!) i luv the steering wheel and the new style. i watched some pre-tests here and yes its now louder as the PreFaceLift. lets see. (greetz from germany!)
Enjoy your new RS3. Dont forget to order the front badge, and get that steering wheel airbag done by a proffesional upholstery company cause the quality on the new one is extremely cheap. Other than that, its a great car!
beautiful
think i will stick with my 8V RS3 👍
Got that beast coming in python yellow full spec, wasp ready to sting
This new trend with the double cut on the steering wheels is ugly af
❤❤❤
Sempre luxuoso
Audi UK, are you going to offer us all the options this time? You've skimped on the facelift S3, so I fully expect things like bucket seats, interior styling pack and ceramic brakes not to be offered to UK customers. If you make that mistake again, I'm out and will keep my carbon 8Y another couple of years. Don't like the new badges and that steering wheel looks very cheap... black plastic, STILL. They could have also sorted the sound out. Mine pops and crackles just like this one, but it took 5,000 miles before it started to do it. LOL. Overall, not much to tempt me and I actually think my car looks better. I'm betting a Vorsprung will be £70k plus. LOL.
Honestly think the new steering wheel design looks kinda cheap (doubt it is)
Of course it's cheap. Just look at the new A4, sorry A5. Cheap AF. Yet look at the price hikes. Audi lost the plot.
honestly, my 24' rs3 steering wheels feels cheap AF but yeah, this one comes across just as bad if not a tad worse.
Glad I got a 2024, not a fan of the 2025. Theres to some functions on the 2024 that I thought I didn't like but after seeing what they did to the 2025 (steering wheel, shifter, steering wheel buttons, led speedometer, rear diffuser) I prefer the 2024 design, its much more aggressive overall.
Je suis entièrement d’accord sur le Volant il est vraiment spécial
Hopefully they don’t play it safe like s3, the rs3 needs to be a demon
@@TheEryk03 Nurburgring lap times is the dumbest thing car company’s do, nobody cares about that 99.9% of people will never go there or any track
Please give this thing some more power, AUDI.
The logo, the wheels, steering wheel, the badging, front redesign, I don’t know, just not feeling it. Also, maybe they could’ve gone for a bit less black plastic at the rear. To me it looks less aggressive, less like an rs than the pre facelift.
2:22 There's something odd about that rear area , it look like it's not well proportionally can't put my finger on why it looks so strange
Probably the lights that stick out; it's no straight line
The rear is a Lexus actually.
💯💯💯
Personally, I like this a lot more than the prefacelift. I could imagine buying this but not the prefacelift. I like the change in the front the most, even without the front badge and the worse Audi logo. To me, the new grill is just a lot better than the prefacelift.
Backend, I know many people hated the prefacelift fake black honeycomb strip. The facelift is better, but could be better if they made the diffuser less tall.
❤❤❤❤❤
Noooiiiice 👍
I like it, but not enough of a change or improvement to order it to replace my 8y Vorsprung
Overall I like it: The Front looks more Sportier and more Aggressive.
I just don’t like The Steering-wheel. But overall, nice one
The use of the new and old RS badge at the same time is the worst thing
touch buttons on the wheel... my gosh haven't they learned from the golf?
is it realy important in such a car
They bought lots, they have to use them or it's wasted money lol
Looking at another video, they are buttons not touch
When are they gonna give it more power 😢
Doesn't need more power. 180mph and 60 in under 4 seconds. I struggle to use the power in mine, what with speed limits and traffic. Just good to have the grunt for overtakes and back road blasts.
Once the TT is gone, a compact 2 door coupe' ( ICE or mild hybrid) would be much desired .....And now even more so as Audi are joining F1 , sportiness must be reflected in the road models.
I hope old steering wheel would be an option
UPDATE: Thanks again. Put down a deposit and now waiting for an allocation. Will share the details when I get one.
Front is okay, side profile doesnt look as inspiring and im just not a fan of how much valence takes up the trunk.
I like the 8v the most and the 8y from certain angles
The badge is stressing me 😩, other than that it looks good!
The 8V design will always be the best
One of the best for sure
Move on. The 8v was lame.
@luciussander8217 let me guess, you have a 8Y, which is the worst designed rs. Congrats on that
When will it be on the Configurator?
On sale in Oct?
@@kennyyu4581 yes
the round airbag on the steering wheel is an Audi trademark…😢
Where did you shoot this ... Location please? 🙏
If the front badge will not be there, I’m gonna flip. Audi has completely lost the plot in that case
I need more power. The M2 BMW is killing me.
@@CCC-DID The M2 and RS3 are such different cars, I find it odd they are so commonly compared. I get that they are the junior performance car of each brand but one is a RWD coupe while one is an AWD 4-door
@@crheming I just don’t like seeing it lose to the Bimmer
it's not there
@@enekmartinyeta1215 It’s so funny you brought this up. I was driving my black 8Y yesterday with the DRL‘s off and one guy in a Subaru Outback broke his neck, looking at the front, trying to read the red badge as I was passing by him. Actually, EVERYONE looks 👀 that badge. Removal is a travesty.
wheels straight from an f80 m3 ? And why is nardo grey always the colour for new audi cars, i dont get it....
RS3 8V PA still the best RS3 out there - by far. The new Audi design language is just ugly af
@@mauricetoussaint7283 Sorry, if i hurt your feelings about your "dreamcar" obviously. Indeed i never owned a RS3 - just drived the 8V several times and the 8Y prefacelift once. That i dont like the all plastic grill front of the newer audi models is my personal opinion. Handling wise i haven't noticed any big differences, but as said, I've driven the latest RS3 version just once so cant really tell if it still has Audisteer or not. Handling was not better to me though. I switched from audi to porsche 3 years ago and im happy with it. So no worries, im not interested at all in buying a boring hatchback with no sound and the interiour plastic landscape of a honda ;).
looks like they fixed the fake rear vents everyone was complaining about
but i dont like that light they put in the middle
the grill still looks weird to me
and the steering wheel..... why cant they just do what they did with the 8v
overall better than the last gen but id wait to see what changes they do in few years.
The new S3 sounds better with the akrapovich exhaust. Hope that is an option on this.
did they make wider fenders?
How dare you!!! 😅
Can I just buy this steering wheel for my 2022 8Y?
What about the rs5?
The 3D front badges haven't looked good on any of the new Audi reveals, they are just flat out worse then the old design. Also no RS badge on the front is a real head scratcher.
No rs logo in the front,
Sticker logo audi rings on the steering wheel… i thought on improvement, but this is going to be backwards in design quality
Top🎉🎉
New wheel design front badge and steering wheel is uglier, but everything else is nicer than original 8Y! 🙌
Good
Where's the front RS3 badge??? SMH
😮😮😊😊😊
Hate these new steering wheels.
Great, at least it doesn't look like a Hyundai with that grille.
Ich würde den Plastik-kühlergrill gleich noch an der Seite weiterführen dann spar man da auch noch Lack 😂
O futuro!
Enjoy!
They got rid of the front RS3 badge and the old badge looks better. The steering wheel looks so ugly. I hate what they did to the front Audi ring too. 2024 version looks way better.
I'll be trading my 2021 RS5 in for that.
Losing money a hobby of yours. LOL
@@luciussander8217 When you make enough of it, it doesn't really matter ;)
@@turner492 Oh I'm very well off thank you, own my own IT consultancy. It's not about affordability, it's about getting value for money. The facelift is ten grand more for the same car, but with more cheap shit on it. We have three cars on our drive, an RS3 8Y sportback, the missis Boxster GTS and mine 718 GT4... and that's probably because I don't piss money up the wall just because I have it. That's how people like me can afford two houses, three cars and when I get past 35 years old, pretty sure a super car will be in the garage. Good luck.

soft touch buttons... i guess they didnt learn anything from the Golf R crowd
Yeah, it sucks. Let's see how Audi implements it. The Mk8.5R kept the touch buttons despite 8.5 GTI/Golf getting physical buttons. From reviews, it does seem like they changed the sensitivity significantly to make it useable.
looks like the A3 tbh
TBH don’t like it. Keep my Nardo 8V.🇦🇺
We've used cheaper materials and eliminated hard buttons. Audi going the wrong direction
