Danube River Visit Romania. This is Danube River in Romania, on the other side is Serbia. It is the kilometer 1000, the entrance of the big river in our country. The destination is known as The Danube Gorge (Cazanele Dunării), one of the many amazing sights in Romania. You can visit the Great and Small Danube Gorge as it naturally builds a border between Romania and Serbia. The Danube flooding won't affect this place because they have some dam system that will prevent the water rising.
