There's something incredibly heartbreaking about this whole album.. It conveys a sense of loneliness, to me at least. I get the same feelings from listening to Of June and Maybe I'm Dreaming. I miss this introspective side of Adam Young, he's a real artist and a beautiful mind.
I'm a rocker but when I Heard this song from a radio back in 2012, I Google it. The music is relaxing in the ears especially the calming voice. I searched for the lyrics and sang it. years after life has never that easy especially when the pandemic strikes. The world was threatened by COVID and we should stay inside the house. We usually played this melancholic tone. And realized something in the lyrics. There is happy thoughts but also emphasis how is it to be without your loved ones. Now it's 2022 but COVID is still around. we still play this song. It's like everything will be fine just be a positive thinker and pray.
I wish he'd do another Sky Sailing album. I know people know the Owl City version of Adam more, but Sky Sailing with its unadulterated emotions, it's touch of innocence and idyllic beauty, just touches my soul. Although I am a fan of "Tennis Elbow" more❤

I have been listening for 2 days straight this song take to paradise
There's something incredibly heartbreaking about this whole album.. It conveys a sense of loneliness, to me at least. I get the same feelings from listening to Of June and Maybe I'm Dreaming. I miss this introspective side of Adam Young, he's a real artist and a beautiful mind.
I'm a rocker but when I Heard this song from a radio back in 2012, I Google it. The music is relaxing in the ears especially the calming voice. I searched for the lyrics and sang it. years after life has never that easy especially when the pandemic strikes. The world was threatened by COVID and we should stay inside the house. We usually played this melancholic tone. And realized something in the lyrics. There is happy thoughts but also emphasis how is it to be without your loved ones. Now it's 2022 but COVID is still around. we still play this song. It's like everything will be fine just be a positive thinker and pray.

I wish he'd do another Sky Sailing album. I know people know the Owl City version of Adam more, but Sky Sailing with its unadulterated emotions, it's touch of innocence and idyllic beauty, just touches my soul. Although I am a fan of "Tennis Elbow" more❤

When I first saw this I was like "WHAT SKY SAILING HAS A VEVO?!" And then I saw that this was the only video, and that made me sad. I wish Adam or whoever would make more Sky Sailing music videos.

This makes me cry because my last name is Brielle. My dad was in a park and he heard this song then a few hours later I was born then they named me nova Brielle . This makes me cry because he says ‘goodbye Brielle ‘ and that reminds me that everyone and I are going to die one day...be nice to everyone you know because one day they will be in sleep forever.

it's 2021 and yet this is still my most favorite song of Adam Young. I heard this when I was in 3rd yr hs (around 2011?) It takes me to my childhood, to my happy memories, to days where everything feels like bliss. It's quite melancholic coz' u don't know when are you gonna feel those same feelings you felt before but pure nostalgic and comforting because you cherished all the memories you've gathered. I love this song with all my heart.
