Great interview. I could listen to Jason for hours. It's nice to hear from someone who has so much behind the scenes knowledge about what goes into these boxes. And particularly this amazing record.
I would be in for similar treatments to Hootenanny and Let It Be, although both those records sound great as-is. The bonus demos and live shows would be lots of fun. Jason if you’re reading this, please make it happen! i can’t hardly wait
Great to hear you mention Little Feat on a 'Mats video. There is a common thread in both bands, heart ache and loss but they could not be farther from each other, stylistically. I love them both, dearly,.
thanks for this conversation with Jason, nice to find out more about the Tim remix. We’re fortunate to get all these great Replacements boxes. Also, this video is a nice follow up to watching friends on the other side of the aisle repeatedly punch each other in the face.
Mazzy, fantastic video !!!! Period......This is my take from the conversation with Mr. Rhino, next year " Let it be " Boxset (40th Anniversary), thanks Mazzy for rooting for that one !!!!! next Hootenanny boxset (Mr. Rhinos favorite) he will not help himself, done deal........He said no to " Stink " fine ....I think a lot of Mats fans, can live with that.......my only concern is " All shook down " ....love that Album, but it is considered a Westerberg solo album, so............Needless to say, Rhino cannot do no wrong with these Boxsets, love all 4 of them, ......3 to go, get it done, Thanks very much.
My copy just arrived and so far I have been able to suss out that my wife hates the Replacements and that the new mix is great. I did catch the Mats at the 688 club in Atlanta about the time Tim came out.
All the ‘mats box sets have been excellent, esp Bob Mehr’s liner notes. Here’s looking forward to Let It Be’s 40th next year. Maz, I’m shocked that you don’t have Dead Man’s Pop.
Nice video, but I’m going to keep beating a dead horse about vinyl and CD packaged together. He mentioned keeping the cost down, fine. Release the remix that is so good on vinyl and put the other stuff as a digital download, not CD. That would keep the cost down. Who cares about CD, you can stream the other stuff in your car, but you have the important stuff on vinyl. Rant over.

Tim was an absolute treasure of a re-issue. Can’t wait for more, Hootenany please!
The Ed remixes are brilliant! This reissue was done incredibly well. Great job to all involved.
Tim might be the best reissue I've ever purchased. Just brilliant.
The Ed mixes are terrific!
same, came here to make this exact comment!

This is a great video and interview. The "Tim" box set is outstanding. They made a great record even better.
Great job, Mazzy. Love this box. Such a revelation. My prediction is that All Shook Down comes next.

Me to. Two great bands.

Hahaha 🤠😎
Please release the new remix album on vinyl only. I really don't need the box.
Yeah, totally agree.
Thanks for the video guys, well done. Must say, the box set releases of all the 'Mats material has been outstanding!
Our pleasure! ✌🏼
It sounds amazing, Please to Meet Me and the Don't Tell a Soul releases incredible as well

Thank you Mazzy!
I think it's 71 dollars on Amazon and that's still too expensive for me. To bad as I love the album.
Grunge?? Right turn Clyde! 👊
Proto grunge. Post garage and classic rock with a bit dirty punk

Lol it’s too expensive as is. Just putting out the vinyl would’ve been cheaper. Not buying it until (hopefully) that happens.
As good as “Tim” is, they don’t have a record that even comes close to “Sorry Ma Forgot To Take Out The Trash.” That record is just bulletproof.
I love Let It Be
