In this era, the easiest way to get the fans to relate to your shit is through emotion. You've got Lu projecting his voice, turning up his pace, he even gets deep and starts talking about his mom.. the fans love that momentum based approach and that's why the crowd was gravitating more towards him. Street hymns comes out the gate with doubles, triples.. so basically it's haymakers against 2-3 punches at the same time. It's whatever you prefer at the end of the day. To me, that layered shit that writers do is waay more impressive. Like can u put a punch together? Yeah? Cool but can u put a punch together that means 3 different things at the same time?
