But due to time will choose the non-elemental Kulu bow for affinity (and easier farming)... hope that'll last me through 6-7 star monsters!
@jinwan3088 diablos bow is strong, but it's not the only viable option!. In fact if I had to do it all over again I may go with poison bow instead haha

Fyi for future reference your videos volume overall is on the quiet end, can you turn up your exports? Also you should turn the background music even more, it's still way too loud. Love your vids!
Yep remember to lift off your finger else it doesn't count as an evade. Actually you could also test it on any monster. If your tap and swipe without lifting up your finger, the game simply takes it as "tap and hold"
why do you sidestep before shooting? to charge one more for free/faster? if so, why do you charge 4 with bblos? i'm hr290 but never played bow, just trying to understand now that i have the stuff for bblos
@wowclassicplus you charge the same. It is really more for positioning so that I'll always remaining in the critical range. It also helps to reposition myself so I can hit monster weak points

HMMMMMM I would think it's pretty similar in terms of dmg. Both are bad compared to elements. Instead I would compare shot types instead. Would you prefer to go up to the monsters face and use spread shot? Or play slightly safer at a distance?

hmm if you charged till youve got a red aura around your bow, that is level 4 charge. Level 1 charge = tap only Level 2 charge = tap and hold till the circle closes in 1 time Level 3 charge = circle closes in 2nd time Level 4 charge = circle closes in 3rd time and your bow has a red flame aura

In mhn there is no multiplier to the charge. I.e for black diablos bow, charge 3 and charge 4 are both pierce 4 and they both deal the same dmg. For shot types hmmmm I'm too dumb to find out the mv of the shot types.. :( but I'm sure someone here would be smart enough to help!

Yeah agree, I feel like rapid is most consistent and pierce has the highest ceiling. Spread just ends up with half the shots missing the weak spots unless I’m directly under them.
I think pierce is really bad, high level monster is always on top of you. Pierce need to be away to give good dmg. Pierce is good maybe in coop if you can keep the monster away

Kulu is fine but you may have some difficulties against kulu since the head is so tiny
@@shawnzyplays Haha, it's OK, I'll bash Kulu with my Jyura S&S, LOL. Some people talk up the Diablos bow, but it's such a pain to kill.

Tilt aiming seems to be the toughest challenge
needs some time to get used to it, but its not for everyone really. Try another weapon if it doesnt click with you.

Full for sure. Better to get used to aiming using full mode because you get to aim and hit weakspots
sometimes im getting a third shot and dont know what thats about. so ill charge up and fire then fire the second and then a third.
thats weird. it should only be 2 shots in total. the initial shot and the powershot.

Use whatever you're comfortable with. It seems like you're pretty comfortable with gs so go with it

@Sypitz yeah range is definitely safer but nothing gives you the same kind of 'high' that a nicely placed true charged slash gives. Haha.

i would recommend diablos/pukei bow first, until perhaps 8*-ish and use that to farm for your elements.

25% and in this game, all dmg gets 25% crit dmg(raw/element)
I wish it's this simple to use bow in MHRise. My ass is getting handed to me all the time. I know it's a skill issue but man, it's tough.

@@0cidd0evade extender really helps with this issue. If you use thunder bow, kadachi armor gives you that and also thunder damage
