You're a lifesaver! I'm autistic and I really hate crew necks and those thick collared t-shirts. They're so uncomfortable and I'm always frantically pulling at them. I watched this, practiced on a good few old ones at first and then did 3 of my almost-favorite tees that I just couldn't wear.... NOW they're favorites!!! It looks good and cleanly cut, LOOKS a lot more flattering too! Thank you

THANK YOU! I hate long videos with nonsense before they get to the point. You are clear, concise, and easy to understand! Thank you!
And a second ENORMOUS THANK YOU!!! I have sensory issues related to ADHD and ASD. The sensory issues are GINORMOUS with clothing and I have HATED tshirts for most of my life. I have a drawer full of amazing tshirts that I put on, wear for 10 seconds, then take off and throw in the laundry, hoping next time is will be soft enough that it won’t bug me.
You just helped me put on a shirt that I am totally feeling today (it says ‘f-- gluten’) and in less time than it took me to type this, I AM WEARING IT!
Thank you for your wise advice. ❤

Thank you for doing such a good video. Nice and short, not a lot of unnecessary talking, to the point and filmed in a way I could see exactly what you were doing. I just cut my tshirt neck and sleeves and I love it!! I have a drawer full of tshirts I never wear because I hate constrictive clothes. They are all going to get a Cinerella Sew makeover, and I'll be wearing them all the time now.

I never comment on UA-cam videos. But I had to comment here. Thank you!!! I’ve tried to do this with other shirts and never could get it right. Your video instructions were easy to follow and made the perfect fit! I have several men’s shirts that are boxy and not flattering at all. I took 60 seconds and cut one of them following this video and it turned out SO cute! I also cut the bottom hem off to give it a slight rolled up look like the sleeves. And wow! I love it! There are so many shirts I want but don’t buy because the collar is so tight and close to my neck. Or the sleeves are too boxy. Your video has made it so I can now buy any tshirt and make it into the style I like. Thank you so much!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've sewn for years but didn't want to have to take my new T-shirt apart or even sew it a little bit..........been watching Utube for ideas & came across your site. You made a very easy to follow, clear and perfect video for me! NOTE-My girlfriend of 40+ years and I are going to Disneyland to celebrate our milestone birthdays (70 & 75) no husbands, just us! I purchased cute T's with Disneyland, Minnie and Girls Trip on them but (the site said they ran small to order up, which I did) they're cute and good quality but are waaaaaay too big and now so I had to do something to make them cute & 2 sizes smaller~ enter Cinderella! I cut the neckline, sleeves and just tied the bottom and now they are adorable! You are a FAIRY GODMOTHER~thank you from both of us!!

I’ve watched so many videos & I stopped here! This was a perfect, quick & easy tutorial. It’s exactly what I needed for my daughters shirt I got her today! All the other ones I tried to watch either said ti eyeball it, cut this that & the other, or they made unnecessary cuts and weird fringe lol. This was perfect! I’m so excited I found this lol.. I was about to give up. This is EXACTLY how I wanted to do her shirts w/o making the neck too low. Last time I followed a YT vid, I ended up with the dumbest shirt 🤦🏽‍♀️😂 too much was taken off the back & I messed up a brand new shirt 😩🥺😢🤬 ahhahaha

This was THE best and most simplest way to cut my shirt! Thank you for making the video. I will say, I made the mistake of doing 1 finger measurement because I thought it would be too low but I went back and made it more swoopy. I highly recommend sticking with the 2 finger rule that this video shows.

haha i bet! i keep restyling them when they get older, and when they are beyond repair, you can at least cut out the image and sew it onto another new tshirt! here you go:
      cut into a patch:
      ua-cam.com/video/8diwXRHVd30/v-deo.html&ab_channel=CinderellaSew
      sew onto another shirt:

Thanks for this video! I just got back from a dream vacation to Disneyland, Hollywood, etc and came back with a pile of souvenir T shirts. When I tried them on tonight after returning home, the necks of them drove me insane. I’ve been buying T shirts my entire life and never had an issue until I bought a bunch in California (different fit over there??!!). I thought I was going to have to take them to a seamstress to do something to them so I could somehow wear them. I’m confident I can fix them on my own now. Thanks again!! Your videos are great 👍

The neck does not roll as much but certainly does not fray.. It’s because cotton is a knit fabric! I know it’s surprising but it’s true!
