Hi, just got myself one of these as a "trainer" b4 I buy anything bigger. The instructions say to keep the battery at a storage charge when not in use. How would I test its vaultage? Thanks for any advice. Enjoying your channel🤓👍
If you are flying it regularly that's not a concern but otherwise I would charge the battery and fly it just for 5 minutes. That should take it down close to storage voltage.
Hello Daft question maybe..is it still possible to use auto land feature when the optical flow is switched off?...also I was wondering have you purchased from the Rc era official website before as I have purchased from bangood but haven’t used the Rc era official website or know anybody who has..thanks again
my ERA C138 problem despite having set the gyro on a flat surface, the helicopter goes forwards and to the right, even when the trimmers are fully adjusted in the other direction...
Hi I’ve ordered the blue colour just wondering in the video you did with the heli in the blue colour you can turn off the optical flow by pressing down on the trim switch..does this transmitter memorise trim settings or do you have to re-trim each flight..another review by someone says if you hold down the trim switch (the one that turns off optical flow) once the red light on the transmitter flashes you can dial in required trim and re-press the trim switch back to a solid red light and the trim is memorised but I’m not sure?
Good question Chris. I'll have to try it next time out. It would be difficult to know with OF switched on as it interferes with how it flies. I will try soon and drop another comment. Cheers.

Got this helicopter and realized that it’s a fake collective pitch function. When it’s turned on, you can control all functions including collective perfectly. But as soon as you start and take off, the pitch angle is set to a certain position - now the helicopter is just rpm controlled - the collective stick input doesn’t effect the pitch angle of the blades at all - only when the motor is turned off. That’s absolutely pathetic. Is there a way to enable this function to fly it like a real helicopter?
Not while it's flying. All RC Era helicopters are made to be easy to fly for beginners and are not CP. The pitch can be changed while it is on the ground before flying but I've not done it myself.

It's the best RTF RC helicopter of 2014 in my opinion. Flies better than most of the larger RC helicopters.

Turn off OF hold down LEFT trim button to right of the left stick i believe, it is on the grey tx version😊
Yes. It's the left not the right trim as a I said first time in the video. When I actually did it later I showed how to do it with the left time.

Yes. Auto landing still works with OF off for me. No, never brought from RC Era. Not even able to find their website

Turn off optical flow stability by holding down left throttle trim for a few seconds after turning on

Simplified for ease of control and budget price. I am perfectly happy with that.
