Love this video Lisa!! I also did a prayer journal after your suggestions. What I did ( have seen it in another video) is to insert pictures of the most important people I pray for (husband, children). I find it easier to be praying for them when I see them!! Love and blessings from Germany! Jessie
Hey sweet sister! I love that you are so honest about those things you are still working on in your life! So many times I feel like we only get to see the finished version and it leaves us feeling a bit lacking. Thank you for that! You mentioned that you write prayer requests on a sticky note then throw them away when they have been answered. I would encourage you to leave them in your journal with a big check mark or a praise for the answer in some form so that when times come when you are feeling a bit needy or in a valley you have them to go back and read what God has done in your life! It is a good reminder in those times just how much God has done and how he has worked in your life! I have treasured that in my Journaling adventure. God bless you!

This video couldn’t of come at a better time. I have been tossing the idea around about starting a bible journal notebook. But I had no idea how and where to start. i absolutely love your prayer journal! it has been on my heart to prayer journal & it has been overwhelming to make it all fancy but yours made it feel alot less pressure about how it looks & more about what is in it! I’m working on my prayer journal and right now I’m just using what I got and that is an old calendar that I’m altering. I live in Sweden, but I sometimes have prayers in English in my journal aswell 🙏🏻
What I want to accomplish and add is a morning and an evening section in my journal, just to have have the best start of my day to give thanks and pray for guidance and invite God to my day and then to have a prayer moment to rest and have a peaceful night 🙏🏻 Blessings!

Love this! This is more of my journaling style. I have been being prompted to pick it back up but I too have been so focused on wanting it to be just right. I need to just go for it. I'm not showing anyone but the Lord so I don't see why it matters on how it looks lol I'm thankful you're honest about not being able to get to ALL of the prayer needs. I second that with an AMEN because motherhood is busy. It's one of the reasons I stopped prayer journaling because I felt discouraged that I couldn't get through all of the prayer needs every day. I started a daily prayer journal and already include gratitude/confession/prayer but not as in specific like yours. I like how you have a section for save and world. This can definitely be so helpful to not forget.

I really like the layout of your prayer notebook. I have one that has way too many tabs and sections and it makes it harder to pray which is the opposite of what I need. I’ll definitely be using your suggestions. ☺️
Yes, that is how I felt when I was looking for a prayer journal, but then decided to make my own! I don’t want prayer to just become a routine, but I still want to be faithful in praying. I hope this blesses you and your prayer life with the Lord 💕
This was so helpful! How do you record answers to prayer for Others? I love daily grace too. My daughter was on staff for a bit and wrote studies. My favorite is the one on Lamentations. God bless your family!

Hi. I just watched your UA-cam video on how to create a prayer journal and LOVED it. If you wouldn’t mind sharing the theme verses you have for the following sections I’d really appreciate it: Praise, Names of God, Church, Saved, World, Scripture & Promise. Thank you. I love the scriptures you shared for you other sections and want to use the ones you selected for 1st prayer journal for my 1st prayer journal.

Also, you mentioned that you’re doing a bible study with some of the people that subscribe to your channel. Will you be starting another one sometime soon? Reason I ask is that I live in a remote area bc I had to move in with family for medical reasons and I go to my church via their online service, but I’m no longer connected to a small group and I miss that. I was living in the DC metro area but now I live in a small town in NC.
I’m new to this. So when a prayer is answered in the supplication section how do you mark it? Do you highlight it, erase, mark through, put a date on it.

Hello! How did you space the pages between each section? Also, where did you find the cute floral sticky notes?
It depends on the sections and which ones I though I would need more room in, some have 5 pages, some have 10 :) I think my mom may have given me those...I can't remember!

Read Hebrews 10:19. Before you start praying confess any sins saying sorry. Then open up prayer with songs of praise. My fave "there was Jesus" -dolly Parton and Zack williams. On you tube. Also "more wonderful" -Sandi patti& larell harris.
