- Imamzadeh Davood is a descendant of Imam Hasan (a). His Shrine is one of the more popular Ziarat sites around Tehran, Iran. Its location just 30 kms outside the capital atop the spectacular Alborz mountains makes the place not only accessible but also scenically breath-taking. Lots of prayers are known to be answered at his shrine.

shokriya... When i was a child( now 71) my grand mother used to tell us about some legends related to how this young imam found himself there, a local legend of 66 years ago. Legends stay legends and those days were narrated, without any judgement or being judgemental. Bless you and the whole world.

I think a bus will drop you 11kms before the shrine. Better to take a taxi. Any taxi from Tehran will take you. Its up a mountain approximately 30 kms from Mehrabad airport. 1 hr drive..
