A Few Days Canoeing in Glaskogen | Ally Canoe | Omnia Oven Pizza

Hello! In this video we spend a few days in Glaskogen, we used the nature reserve campsite as a base camp and explored the two larger lakes in the area. We were lucky that the reserve was quiet as this was during May so the holiday season was still a few weeks away.

Brilliant when you get the place to yourselves. Good to know about the company that give the canoes and barrels of food etc as I would most likely fly over if I went. Definitely on the list. Nice looking pizza too! Atb.M.

Hi Martin, aye you can organise the entire set up through that company. There’s also a few independent outfitters in the area as well. Spring is the best time to go to avoid the crowds. ATB mate 👍

Great spot there. Been there several times, many years ago.
Did no one mention, that it's not the best of ideas to wear wellies while canoeing?
In case of a capsize, they will run full of water and drown you. :(

Yes it's a great area! Wellies are ideal for canoeing in cold weather, I've been in the water on more than one occasion wearing old style rubber wellies and I'm still here. The ones I'm wearing in the video are made from neoprene; they actually increase your buoyancy when submerged 👍
