As a long time fan of his, I think this encapsulates everything that's so great about Getsix's sound. Catchy melodies, punchy drums, super aggressive basses, and chord stacks that I can only describe as "soaring" to top it all off.
Play this song in two different tabs at different timings, but time difference is no longer than a second apart ( EX: 0.20 seconds apart, 0.50 seconds, 0.75 seconds). It can add an echo or make the song sound completely different when a certain repetitive beat is matched with another beat that was (EX: .2, .5, .75 sec) apart. Try experimenting this with this song and other songs to see if they strike your interest. I originally wanted to try this in a sound editor app for solo musics (piano covers, violin covers) to increase a certain part of it.
Sounds like the experimental nature of a lot of music in the minimalism genre. Ever heard of a piece called Piano Phase by Steve Reich? 2 pianos play the same 16th note pattern and one of the pianos slowly gets faster. You'll here the pattern phase apart and then for a few seconds you'll here the one piano that sped up will be on the up beat so that you get a 32nd note sound between the 2 pianos, then the second piano will keep speeding up slightly and the pattern will lock back into place, but it will be displaced by 1 note. it does this repeatedly throughout the piece and you get really cool sections of the pattern than pop out each time there is a phase. Check the piece out. There are also some good covers of it for 2 marimbas.
The sheer energy this track radiates is hard to put into words. It's fast-paced, upbeat, coated in a tinge of nostalgia that reminds me of past Summers, spent running under the scorching Sun as I listened to it. One of my favourite DnB tracks for sure :D
