I would have tried for Lonnie Walker before the Celtics signed him - I would have played Walker before Council because Walker has a NBA Proven 3 Point Shot & Council does not - also they have similar size & so play Walker above Council this year & then next year Council will have his playing time shot - Gordon & Walker could have been interchangeable backup SG & SF because both have long Wingspans - also the Sixers can mix & match many players as the sixers have many versatile players
I was campaining for Newor before they got Yabusele. I am surprised he's still out there for a minimum. He's kind of ok on offense, kind of ok on defense. Versatile but just not elite in any area but end of bench i thinks he exactly what a lot ot teams could use.
I have followed the Sixers for many decades from out of state, so I occasionally miss something. Was the Fultz TOS diagnosis considered dubious by the organization, media, and fans? It's not uncommon among MLB pitchers, and can be treated by surgery/therapy. It couldn't have been a psychological reaction to the pressure of being the #1 pick - you don't suddenly completely lose your jumper, your mind maybe, but not your jumper. Clearly, Orlando felt his "condition", whatever the cause, was unremediable. Still, I'd take a flyer on him for his athleticism, playmaking, and relative youth - as well as for sentimental reasons.
Sixers should have signed Lonnie Walker. PERIOD!!!!!!! I don't believe sixers have to leave 15th spot open Plus sign Walker so other contenders can't get him like Celtics got - if sixers want to win this year then you olay Walker over Council as Walker is a proven NBA 3 POINT SHOOTER
I want fultz back just bc I like him it has nothing to do with the on court construction of the team
Then that’s foolish, and thank God we don’t have to worry about you making that decision
Markelle Fultz signed with the Thunder
The sixers should have drafted Lonnie Walker instead of Zhaire Smith after the Mikal Bridges trade but of course Sixers should have just kept Bridges
I agree right now it would be McDermment

"On August 5, 2024, Nwora signed with Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi and the EuroLeague."
Well, cross him off the list then, lol
If you don't know where he fits why mention him?
If the man can't shoot why have him? One would think about that since this team done that move.
No more Fultz… need to get past this sad chapter in 76 er history… 15 th spot like a lifeguard in a steambath…
