How was it a good job? You asked her to tell you where MINNIE would say the popper was. Minnie last saw it under the other one. It just looks like the child didn't understand the exercise. What has this to do with egocentrism?

Psychology professor here kids do not understand that people have different perspectives than their own.

She said good job because the girl acting as expected for the experiment. The kid was supposed to answer like that because in this stage they use their point of view for everyone, they don't understand that there are different aspects and perspectives, that's the meaning of egocentrism
