Application filed in court to ban Pakistani cricketers

Pakistani cricketers who have been in trouble and under heavy criticism after their recent poor performances have now got a further boost as a citizen in Lahore sued the court for accompanying the families of the national cricketers on overseas tours. An application has been filed to impose a ban.
In the petition filed by Advocate Faisal Waheed in Lahore High Court, Pakistan Cricket Board, Chief Selector, Team Manager, Head Coach and White Ball Team Captain Babar Azam have been made parties.
The petitioner has taken the stand that the Pakistani team's performance in the recent T20 World Cup was extremely disappointing and they were eliminated from the mega event after losing to the novice American team. The entire nation is disappointed by this worst defeat.
He further said that huge expenses are incurred on the PCB and the players and requested in the petition that the court seek details of salaries and allowances given to all officials including expenses incurred by the cricket team abroad and on foreign tours. Cricketers and officials should be banned from taking their families along.
