I love my ham! I have a modern ham, but I love that old ham! I use mine all the time.

I've had 2 hams and used them for making hats, but never knew how to use them otherwise. So simple, so great!

Was looking forward to the ham video. After watching, I definitely need to get another, larger ham. Thank you.

I’ve the same small ham you have in the video. I probably use it about half the time I could be. I find it kind of cumbersome to use and feel like I get a better result without it. I’m inspired to try using it more.

I made a ham with a thick cotton and buckwheat hulls. I have used it so many times and it has been invaluable making clothes for my family.

I am an inveterate thrift store shopper and if you shop long enough and often enough you can find hams and clappers in the fabric and sewing departments of thrift stores.
Many times when I reach the checkout counter, the clerk will look at those items in puzzlement and say, "What are these things for?"
If you buy these items at a thrift store, they are much, much cheaper than if you buy them new.✨

I will keep my eye out for them next time I am at the thrift store :)

I made one out of cedar chips and cotton gingham. It's about the size of an American football. I love using it to press knit necklines that I've finished with a narrow band. Makes those suckers lie beautifully flat.

I love that you made a gingham one! GingHAM! It was the perfect choice!

I've always loved to starch and iron my own dress shirts but I never heard of these things until today. 🙁

Oh man you totally need to pick up a few of these ironing tools I am talking about right now. It is going to make your shirts look that much nicer. I have a sleeve board video coming out Sunday and that one is great for sleeves!
