Assalaamu alaikum, I'm working in a nursery with children. For this job we have to do activities with the children that include drawing faces etc, in this case what should I do?

Wa'alaykum as-salaam. I would also like to confirm, as below, if buying and providing our children with kids activities and coloring books for educational purposes is impermissible or just discouraged/disliked? As these are filled with all forms of pictures of cartoon humans and animals to colour, but also teaches children to draw their own pictures.

What was the conclusion from the Shaikh? Is picture making that is NOT intended to be used for shirk permissible or is it sinful? and what is definition of picture making? This video of the Shaikh in my opinion would be classed as a form of picture making. So i''m guessing he is saying it is not a sin otherwise he would be veiled? According to many scholars, recording and using a camera doesn't fall under picture making as the human is not the one drawing or making the images, using the camera is merely capturing a reflection as we use mirrors for reflection.

But you also make pictures...Videos are moving pictures. They may even be worse cos they are multiple pictures moving in a fast pace. The Scholars say "A Picture is a Picture". Videos are still Haram. So fear Allah and refrain.
