All the notes seriously sound amazing !! 😩 🤤. The cinnamon, the honey, the amber (the coconut threw me for a surprise). It’s also nice to hear that the oil concentration level is down. Heavy concentration gets tiresome. Less is more imo. As for a gourmand fragrance or what I consider to be “gourmand” is PDM’s Oajan. I’d like to get Kilians Angels share & Black Phantom in my collection. And honestly, I’m gonna wear Oajan today just because. I’d say most of my fragrances are “refined” but gourmand is much needed. And awesome of George to be in collab with people. It’s very down to earth and awesome to see. I would imagine that all his fragrances are high quality and great, not only with his background and experience, the detail and thought out ideas as well. 🙏

I like to think of it this was in my humble opinion: Angelsshare is the much more refined, luxurious, elegant and much more feminine version of Oajan. Are they alike ?! Yes and no. They share similarities. Easier way for me to put it: Angelshare is the educated, classy pretty boy. Oajan is the bad boy. Just as equally skilled and good looking. It’s your choice. You can be both bad and good for your girl 😉
Hi Brian! I have had the pleasure to be able to get my nose on the new Zaharoff Aurum and it is absolutely Amazing! IMO the best honey perfume I have ever smelled! Beautiful, luxurious , intoxicating and very addicting. Totally unisex so both men and women can enjoy this amazing scent. George hit it out of the park with this one! And the bottle with the bee plate is absolutely stunning!

Nice! In fact, all my Zaharoffs are complete blind buys! To be very honest, 99% of my fragrance purchases are blind buys. I look up the notes and try to imagine the scent profile and then compare my imagination to the real thing when I have it in hand. Really enjoy the journey. Not that there weren't any bad apples, but it's part of the process. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Great job, Brian! I was anticipating your review because youre super descriptive! I could close my eyes and just paints the experience of the scent as if I was wearing it myself. I want to blind buy Aurum so bad, but I am slightly worried because I did so with Of the Immortals, although I like it, but it's not a love. Felt like it was a sweet, coconutty woodsy smell than leans masculine with all the woods. Would you say Aurum can be considered more feminine than Of the Immortals or do you think the amber and the spices keep Aurum very in the mid and unisex? Also, have you ever smelled Ellis Brooklyn's Bee? If you have, how do you compare it to Aurum? I think the one gourmand I did fall in love with was Angel's Share, the boozy cognac and aged oak smell is to die for. I bought Khamrah thinking it would be the same, but Khamrah is much more sweeter with the note of dates and is missing the depth of those two notes in the original Angel's Share. Eventually, I'll just pull the trigger and just buy it 😅 aint nothing better or compares to the original! I keep hunting for gourmands but all that I have are not loves. I have House of Sillage Hufflepuff, 3 Navitus fragrances Venom of Love, Chocolate Queen, Kind Intentions, Love, Dont Be Shy. Theyre all too sweet for me... I want to give Lira a chance but after not being completely in love with Hufflepuff, it made me question if I should blind buy something else and not be completely in love with it. Maybe I have to just accept that I'm just not a gourmand girl😅

The gourmand fragrance in my collection that I really like is Xerjoff Naxos. It's sweet honey and vanilla with lavender and tobacco that lasts a whole day on me. Beautiful scent despite the fact I often don't like gourmandish fragrances.
I have a tiny sample of Naxos and it's beautiful. I have plans to get a bottle someday soon. As for gourmands or something close to gourmands, we all have a sweetspot. I agree with you. Even for me, not all gourmands will work.
I’ve gotten my first gourmand fragrance & that is Followed by Kerosene. Man if you’re a fan of coffee, Carmel, chocolate,& vanilla you will love this. The coffee in the opening is NUCLEAR then after 3-4hrs it calms down to this maple syrup pancake with hints of coffee. Absolutely love it. Also last 12+hrs on skin & 24+hrs on clothes
I've always heard great things about that fragrance. I love coffee based fragrances too. I want to recommend Akro Awake. Try that one. Awesome stuff too. I'll be purchasing Followed some time soon. Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts.
It's great but never let it touch your clothes because it won't go away even if you wash it. And being ethernal is pretty much the only reason why some people don't like about it.
I hear you. Maybe then I'll have to have a dedicated Followed apparel and Followed day 😂. I experienced that with Megamare. Still have that t-shirt which came in contact and even after several washes over many months, I can still smell Megamare 😂

I don't have too many fragrances from Hugo Boss. The one I've reviewed is the famed Boss Bottled Intense EDP and it's discontinued now.
