Thank you again, Jon. As I've told you, I love seeing the backwoods backroads you ride that I did once upon a time. And jealous that you can ride right through most of the winter!
Another great video, Jon! I think, when it comes to water crossings, you know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. Wise choices this time of the year. Enjoyed the new scenery and glad you're liking that new front tire. Made all the hard work mounting it worthwhile. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for a great video! My favorite swimming hole on the planet is at Vera Cruz conservation area - not far from where you were riding today. When I saw where you were riding and it's proximity to Ava, I thought you were referring to the MFTHBA world headquarters. LOL!
Thanks for the vid, and you're making me eager for spring and getting back down your direction. Currently I'm looking out the window at the nastiness of winter and impending blizzard they say is on my way.
Thanks for the ride video. Just in time today we are having ice, snow and sleet here in Wildwood MO, not far from you. Might just have to get together later this year for a ride.
Awesome! I am considering moving to that area, and looking into options for riding :) Glad to find your channel.. I'm watching this as it snows (and it's 18 degrees out!) here in NE & daydreaming of living where "year round" riding is an option ;)
I flew my deine over the crossing you stipped at over the summer when it was still intact. Video is on my channel. That last flood definitely did some damage.
Hi jon I'm just west of you(west of Ava )I like goin through Glade Top area have you been out there ? I tried looking through your videos for a trip there but couldn't find one.
Hello there sir, good to hear from you. I used to go through that on my way over to hwy 125 but it has been several years since I have been through there... It is a nice piece of government woods for sure... keep warm and thanks for watching... :)
I rode the same ride you did back in November about a week ago. The one that goes by Joy Camp and vera cruz access. Luckily they had graded out a lot of the roads so they were passable. I'm not far from you - just east of vanzant. Maybe we'll cross paths one day!!
Hey there Matt.. great to hear form you.. I hope to see you out there soon. I am going to try and put together a ride week at Eminence this season for everyone to come down and ride that area... I will post when I have a date... hope to see you there... thanks for watching... :)
Put Walmart sacks on your feet under; your boots rely helps keep feet dryer. Those are some awesome gravel roads. I live near there and will be going over there soon. Thanks
I live in Southern Illinois but spend a lot of time in SE Missouri riding the same type of roads that you are on in this video. I have ridden the Glade Top Trail maybe 3 times but it is always ridden on the way to NW Arkansas. I think I need spend a little more time exploring your area instead of passing through it.
Great to hear from you sir, my rule of thumb is to follow the waterways.. it works no matter where I am to provide great riding... I hope to see you out there soon... thanks for watching... :)
If you would have crossed where the low water crossing was gone on 104 the next crossing is completely gone and unpassable. It has been washed out for a long time but it is a very scenic crossing if you get to it.
Good to hear from you sir, I am going to try and do a ride week in Eminence Missouri this season and invite anyone who wants to come down and ride. I hope you can make it down... I do not have a date yet but I will let you know when I figure it out... thanks for watching... keep safe... :)
The one tire brand I will never buy again is Mitas. Too expensive, too difficult to mount/dismount. The Tusk D-sport works just fine! I had to cut off my last mitas when changing out for my 690. A new one was $200 but the D-sports were $180 for a front, rear, and both tubes. It was a no brainer! The Mitas lasted 1800 miles, the D-sports lasted 3000 miles.
Nice area for the mighty KLX . The Ozarks provides lots of rustic scenery .Thanks for the ride along!
Thanks for watching... :)
Jon, nice to see you back! Thanks for the wonderful video. That sure is some pretty territory you were riding in.
Thanks for watching sir.. :)

@ozarksbackroads5484 absolutely, I rode the SxS out there yesterday after seeing your video and was shocked at how much damage was done.
@@Somooffroad2024 We had 14.5 inches of rain in 2 days here in MG from that storm....
@ozarksbackroads5484 yes sir, I. About 2 miles from that crossing iut here on old 5.
Id love to go riding with you sometime John. I'm up in Rolla with an 800t.

Nice video! Location?
What I do: Wear fishing waders that come clear up to my chest. They haven't torn, and my feet stay dry.
