Even if you locate the hostages it's nearly impossible to separate them from terrorists and avoid casualties!
Not too long ago the IDF managed to save hostages from terrorists without harming them and it took a special unit yet they made it, that alone was incredible!
When you deal with terrorists who hide underground luke rats and you need to avoid hitting civilians the task becomes 200 times much more harder!
Israel is the first country ever to minimize casualties in an urban warfare!!
I suggest you study warfare even specifically warfare in the middle east / against arab countries overall before making baseless comments like the one you just wrote!
