Cannibal Corpse and Suffucation are the 2 main death metal bands that hit Montreal in the early 90s. Remember there was no internet, it was only CDs. The crowd reaction is not surprising, many Montreal metalheads grew up with Suffucation + Metallica.
I still listen to the live album they did in Quebec frequently. Imo, I think it's a much better live album than the one they released last year. 🤘 This band rules so hard live!
I don't know why frank cups the mic when he already has a powerful as fuck growl. Cupping the mic just thins out the vocals, if anything. Usually it's those guys with the quiet shitty fry vocals that have to resort to mic cupping.

I SEEN THEM IN '91' '93' '94' AND '95'. BACK IN THERE YOUNGER DAY'S. FRANK WAS SO BRUTAL LIVE AND A HELL OF A FRONT MAN FOR BRUTAL DEATH METAL.
