- In this video, the entire family takes part in processing almost 100 chicken on our homestead tat will be used in our family food supply as well as sold through our online farm store to our customers to help fund farm activities.

Watching from africa, so impressed what the state has available for help. Very hard work dispatching. I appreciate what farmers do to provide me a plate. Mind boggling that the livers are thrown but happy to know they are turned into yummy bacon. Hope you feel better soon.

We liked to leave the birds in the cones for a few minutes to allow the blood to get where we want it.
If memory serves its my Dad that told somebody that if they hit their head on the concrete it might damage the concrete. Now get a better/safer ladder for next time you need it.
Not ALL aluminium ladders are bad. The one you had was definitely an 'el cheapo' though, hence the collapse.
Troy I’ve used this trailer last year they need to do some modifications to it. Some kinda of splash guard for the plucker and definitely a heat shield under the Scalder. My birds were just about too big for the kill cones. I’ve got a list of ideas for next time. Foot switch for the plucker. Etc. I’m going to try to come to the conference. I would also suggest the sticking knife from dexter.

Red you need to use a stiff long drain cleaner and run it from the bottom up. No ladders included.
Dehydrated liver slices make great dog treats!
Twll them to clean the burner on the scaller. Atso temp should be 161 for one minute.

Do you reserve that a year in advance? Do you coordinate your harvest with the availability of the equipment?
I found that Bentonite clay paste will stop bruising in it's path! I fell back over a sewer cap, really whacked my calf, it was turning purple fast!, I rubbed bentonite clay paste on it and the bruise was GONE by the next morning. No pain, no bruising, as if it never happened. I was amazed actually. Anyway, it's good to have some around, it also extracts splinters, thorns and anything that gets embedded in your skin. Also amazed by that! Check it out at Redmonds, of real salt fame. :)
Also, thanks to you and the family for bringing us through the entire process. It's not nearly as disturbing as I imagined.

Chicken liver would make good timber treats
I was thinking the dogs might like them,then somebody suggested selling them for fishing bait. It would be good if he could find a Profitable market for them. But if he can't maybe he can use them to supplement the dog food,or just give the dogs a little something extra sometime.
How do you sell the chicken retail without a USDA stamp?
Most states have a poultry processing exemption up 10,000 birds per year

Thanks for the info. Have you heard from any of your commenters or asking around etc. Do any other states have those trailers for rent that you've heard of? I hope that makes sense.
Never forget all of the Russians who abused children and their families in Ukraine. From the mass graves (in Izium) to the stolen children. Now if parents don't become Russian citizens and go to flight against their brothers and cousins Russia will take their newborn children at birth.
Speaking of Izium. What did those 414 people see? The Russians thought it was better to murder them and bury them all in a mass grave instead of letting them testify. Whatever they saw must have been truly horrific.
If Russia want's to sign a treaty they must first prove they will stand by one. If Russia wants to negotiate, start with your original written agreement. Pull back all of their troops back behind their original boarder and then you can start negotiations. If they don't show they will honor the original agreement how can you expect them to honor any further agreements.
It's our war to lose. Russia can NOT win. Unless we choose to not support Ukraine of course. It is on us in the global West to pick the world we want to live in. Choose wisely. Thanks.
