Papua New Guinea: Sing Sing Dance in Tari Highlands

  • This is 4 short video clips spliced together, showing a "Sing-Sing" Dance performed by tribesmen in the Southern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. This location is about 20 mile or so from the town of Tari. There are a few different tribes represented here, but many are of the Huli Wigman group.
    The occasion was the opening of a new school in the area. Many people from the surrounding villages came out for a day of picnicking and enjoyment of the festivities. You can read the story of my trip to this area by visiting my website with this link: www.ourdisappea...
