- Image: Beautiful scene of the derelict-looking casa and all that wind-blown blossom (I think). It is funny how they are both thrown out on their ear with very little reverence for their religious respectability!

@@AestheticOfTheImage In chronological order Dr.Mabuse the Gambler, Sunrise, The Rules of the Game (maybe his Grande Illusion or The River will replace Rules) , I Walked With a Zombie, Kiss Me Deadly, The Searchers, Vertigo, Touch of Evil, Demy's Lola, Shoot the Piano Player, Contempt and Goodfellas. Noir is my favorite genre and I've got 4 in my top 13.
What are some of your favorites.
Well, lots of my favourites are your favourites - here is a playlist of clips I have on my channel which you mention above: ua-cam.com/play/PLUTcPWY0FN2E1IN8mlMrTlu3TpSZKKx_w.html - enjoy!
@@AestheticOfTheImage WOW talk about synchronicity. Just gave a quick look at your posts. You've got GREAT taste....lol.....So nice to see Lola as one of your favorites. It is such a perfect, beautiful, emotionally charged film that I don't think gets enough praise. Keep up the good work, mate.
Thanks! let me know if you watch the playlist and what clips you like if you have time!
Anyway, I have just paid £7 to buy 'I Walked with a Zombie' by Jacques Tourneur - so it better be good or else I might ask you to refund me! (I have so often planned to watch it, so thanks for the nudge...) Best wishes - Tristan
