Whenever i spray paint, i use plain envelopes, card sheets etc as base so that the extra paint goes on that and they can be used too!

Great work. One alteration I would have done is to stick two glitter strips, sticky side together, for the handle. It will strengthen the handle and prevent dust and fluff to stick on the glue side of the single strip.

Just a thought.... putting the hot glue design on baking/parchment paper might make it even easier to remove. This project is beautiful!

Very nice but I have a suggestion for your next lantern with the handle stick two pieces of the glitter strip's together so as not to have a sticky handle once you remove the with paper
