Hard to believe she had cancer as we watch her here. When she came back from her illness to do Showgirl Homecoming she became the goddess we know and love today. Not to mention the "Kylie effect" that probably saved the lives of many young women. Luv her!!!
Kylie was showing signs of illness and exhaustion at one Manchester concert a few years ago, which must have been very difficult for her personally, which made us gay men love her all the more, as she is a true survivor - and she has bounced back to become even better than ever, showing us that she is a true fighter, back from the brink of one of the toughest battles (against Cancer) of her entire life - aside from early cancer treatment in Paris, the care that she received from both her family in Melbourne and from Irish Catholic Nuns in the hospital there, helped her immensely ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
I love them both just as much. They’re very different. For me Madonna is the Queen of Pop and Kylie is the Princess of Pop. Both unique in their own way
One of the best nights of my life when I went to this show. Her cancer diagnosis mere weeks later was all the more devastating. Thankfully all was well and Kylie is at the top of her game today 😊

This is her best concert for me personally. The stage and the performance are really in balance. I do enjoy watching her other concerts but I always come back, watching this.
This tour was so amazing and I really can't believe Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after this and it was a shame that the rest of this tour was cancelled but I am so glad that Kylie went back to recording and touring after cancer and Kylie came back stronger than ever! I love Kylie, she is amazing

As a fan its sad to think she had been feeling ill during these London shows but she proceeded and knocked it out of the park like only Kylie can. Only to be told the devastating news a matter of days later. The world held its breath until she came back bigger and better with Homecomming, her best tour in my opinion simply for what it meant to her to get back to the stage and the fans and of course the subsequesnt tours are all amazing in the their own ways because each was a different vision etc. She really is the Showgirl 😁

I prefer most of showgirl but i think the final section of Homecoming (Can't get you out of my head + Light years/Turn it into Love with the cyber man theme) was amazing. I was gutted she cut please stay and the original version of Hand on Your Heart though.

all transitions between the acts are very fast as you think because each show before the release on the DVD is cut and assembled in the studio in order to avoid long gaps that you can see in the live concert when the artist has time for a little break for a costume change, possible change of scenery etc. greets ;))
She was mis diagnosed before and then found out she had it when she went to Australia, i think some time after this show. It may have been on the back of her mind here that she may have it as she doesn't look her happiest at this concert. Shes an amazing woman though and still stunning
This was one of the last European dates before the tour was heading to Australia where she was told she had in fact developed breast Cancer having previously been misdiagnosed. Kylie and the team proceeded with the tour following the advice she was fit to perform so she must have been feeling ill for a long while before she was eventually diagnosed, She really is an inspiration to do a show this big for months and be feeling the way she did. The reason why Kylie appeared thin in early 2005 is that she had been misdiagnosed with some other than breast cancer. She felt something was wrong with her but her doctors did not correctly detect breast cancer until May 2005 just before the Australian leg of the Showgirl tour

Myself personally I preferred Showgirl more than Showgirl homecoming. I like the setlist of this tour more
