My band played a show opening for jeff bridges not too long ago in santa barbara. He's a super nice guy and a great performer. Apparently music was his first love but the public recognized him as more of an actor. In my opinion, he's pretty good at both!
i didn't think it was bad. yes dylan, hendrix, and my favorite singer/songwriter john lennon weren't the best singers in the world, but made great music. they made you feel the music and the emotion behind the lyrics. now clapon, i have to disagree with oldpeculiar. i think he has a phonominal voice. just watch any live concert. he doesn't miss a note.

Bob Dylan, in my opinion, has got to have one of the worst voices any high profile artist has ever had (auto-tuned crap like Black Eyed Peas excluded), and I enjoy the heck out of that music Now Russell Crowe's attempt at being a musician, that's a whole other story :(
Sorry, but I disagree with you, Yuppie! I love Jeff Bridges and I don't think he sounds bad either. He's a great actor and although not the best singer...he did very well in Crazy Heart. Seems like he got better with age. Thumbs up for Jeff but thumbs down for your title to this video.
Dude, there's nothing wrong with this song. IT's country, if you don't like it then don't say the song sucks or that he can't sing. Jeff Bridges wrote a perfectly good country song and has a good voice for it. I'm more of a rock guy but hell, don't talk trash about him because his music doesn't live up to what you thought of it.
