Patsy Cline has one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "She's Got You", "When I Get Through With You", "So Wrong", "Leavin' on Your Mind", "Walkin' After Midnight", "I Fall To Pieces" "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love", "Imagine That". She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams. You reacted to Home Free's version of "Crazy" awhile back.
Sweet Dreams was a great movie. Jessica was great as Patsy, as was Ed Harris as her husband. Shows a very different Patsy to how people would have pictured her.
Willie Nelson wrote the song, her husband was drinking with Willie and Willie played the record he made and her husband wanted to go play it for Patsy at midnight while they were both half drunk. Willie said she came out after hearing it and cut the track the next day. The rest is history
I saw an interview with another country singer (forgive me I can’t remember who) that Patsy wasn’t a fan of the song after having to sing it a million and one times 🤷♀️
@@chrissiler6075 You know, people come on the internet and make everyone believe they are an authority on this or that individual, like you saying, "maybe she was tired of singing the song"!!! Ridiculous!! So let me also be an authority on Patsy Cline. I have gleaned my information from some of the you-tube videos dealing with Miss Cline's life, especially those where her husband is interviewed (you could have done the same). Miss Cline entered the recording studio shortly after her accident still showing physical signs of that accident. When Patsy Cline first heard the song she didn't particularly care for it. It took a long one day or two day session (this is where my memory fails me) to finely hit the interpretation she liked. And the rest is history!!
@@chrissiler6075 Huh! I am looking at it right now, unless that is not you. "Maybe the star was tired of singing Crazy". I am sorry if that is NOT you and will gladly delete or alter my post if I am wrong.
Home Free covered this very song a while back. That's probably what you're remembering lol. Austin sang the lead and I know how much you love his voice! Great reaction.
Willie Nelson wrote and recorded this. Patsy took it to a sophisticated, jazzy place. Don’t see this in modern County. Live in Tennessee and keep my finger on the radio station change button constantly, seeking anything close to this level of excellence. Most stations are the cookie cutter, pop, overly produced, boring crap. Mix that in with the screaming preachers and I usually just meditate while driving. Patsy was one in a million 🌞
The richness & warmth of her voice almost puts me in a trance. You already did my favorite, "Sweet Dreams". Now you need to hear "I Fall to Pieces", another huge hit. And her hits attained legendary status, as did the lady herself.💙🌿
She's fantastic. My strongest memory of this son was in the movie Nell staring Jodie Foster in the 90s it's when I really fell in love with this song and it's stuck with me ever since. Will sing this when my family jam together.
*Donny Osmond - Go Away Little Girl* #1 on the Pop chart Sept 1971. It was 2 months before his 14th birthday. The set Patsy was on was actually from a tv music show I believe. 😂
Patsy had a one of a kind voice, and I love Willie Nelson. This is a beautiful song. Home Free definitely more than did this song justice when they covered it. They are so great at everything they do ♥
The backing vocals by the Jordanaires appeared on all of Patsy Cline's Decca sessions from her first in November 1960 to her last in February 1963, during which time they backed her on songs such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Walkin' After Midnight. They are widely known for providing background vocals for Elvis Presley in live appearances, recordings, and feature films from 1956 to 1970.
She was in serious car accident rt as this was released. She is performing in this with the scars still healing on her face. She’s classic and my fav! Thank you for covering ❤️
What I especially love is that not only did Willie Nelson write it, but his original title for it was "Stupid". I almost wish he had kept that as the lyrics. "Stupid... I'm stupid for feeling so lonely..." 😂
This was a one and done, once she recorded this song, there were no other versions. Everyone loves the song and has covered and tried and failed to come near this perfection. Fine to sing it as a tribute, but no one is ever going to do it better. Even Willie Nelson who wrote it and had his own hit didn't try to sing it in Patsy's style. Also, the backup by the Jordonaires who also backed up Elvis and Brenda Lee among many others and that Nashville song make this a preservation of perfection in time.
today we have the Taylor Swift imposter singers. Patsy was on TV and Radio when I was just a 10 yr old boy. I didn't understand why all my relatives on the farms were in tears. I was just a boy. Her airplane left my hometown of Kansas City and all died. But, I didn't know about death then until November 63.
Hi. The video you reacted to here is an audio dub from the original record. It's also on UA-cam in its original live version, from the 1961 TV appearance. That's what was used for the video portion. I like the way Patsy Cline sang "Crazy", but I do think Angelina Jordan sang it better. Regards from Long Island, NY.
You will never be caught up because everybody loves you so much 🙏👍 This is the one Angelina Jordan sings really good she has and her young version and she has a new version on TikTok 🙏👍
how much does it ctusllt cost to for sure get a request done? I don't really have money but like I've been dying to have you do a song you will obviously love and everyone already likes
I finally caught you early. Sub from way back at 9k subs. How come you don’t react to any more John and Edgar Winter Albino brothers. Willie Nelson wrote this. Anyway Love me Patsy Cline .
It does not get any better than Patsy, this was written by willie Nelson, at first she did not want to do it because she said she can't do willie's style but they told her to do it in her style and this became her signature song.

No one can sing this better than Patsy - I don't care who it is. Absolutely gorgeous voice.
I’m glad you finally listen to this. Patsy was one of the finest singers of all time. Regardless of genre.
So great to hear good music. No auto tune, just sheer natural god given talent. Loved your reaction.
Patsy’s voice was as pure as it gets.
Patsy Cline made this song so emotional! She's just the best country female vocalist of all time! ❤️❤️❤️
She has a masterful voice. Love the reaction!
It's that cry in her voice that is so beautiful.
U can float on that voice! Absolutely beautiful! Great reaction!😍😍😍
How could you not love this song by Patsy Cline, such a beautiful voice. 🌟
Love me some Patsy Cline. Her voice is so beautiful. Truly remarkable.
She was one of the first ever country crossover artist, her voice is amazing, even for non country fans.
Sends chills down my spine whenever I listen to this.
There is no one can sing like her. She will always live on.
God I love Patsy singing this and your range of appreciation for so many genre and era of music 🙂

You can’t go wrong with Patsy’s voice and Willie’s songwriting!
This is one of my all time favorite songs 🖤 I used to have this on cassette lol
I just Love Your reaction to Patsy. I ❤️ You!
Before my time but, my mama taught me and I agree, the purest, most beautiful female voice ever! R.I.P. Patsy! We will see you on the other side!
I like your reaction videos…and I like that you sing and anticipate where they’re going. You have a good voice…:)
I love your reactions and comments to Patsy Cline "Crazy ❤
The richness & warmth of her voice almost puts me in a trance.

Great reaction! Love her voice. RIP Patsy, gone way to soon. Oh you did react to Crazy but by Home Free !!!
She's fantastic. My strongest memory of this son was in the movie Nell staring Jodie Foster in the 90s it's when I really fell in love with this song and it's stuck with me ever since. Will sing this when my family jam together.
If memory serves me correctly, she was 16-17yrs ol when she sang this
Lea Ann Rimes does an incredible version
I live about an hour and 15 minutes from where Miss Patsy is from. She was one of a kind

Love it ❤
I grew up to the sounds of my mother’s music collection- heavy on Patsy Cline and Frank Ifield - someone please request him!
You heard HOME FREE do a cover, Austin is the only person with that crazy a range
Oh yeahhhhh they did do this wow
It has not been done better than this. Gold standard.
The vocal accompaniment belongs to The Jordanaires, famous for serving as vocal support for Elvis from the 50s to the late 60s.
drinking music, love it

Hi Nick, just thought you would like to know Delta Goodrem is touring with the back street boys in the USA.
That was great sir. You've seen Angelina Jordan's version on a tictok compilation about 6 months ago. Keep up the beautiful work. Thanks.

You reacted to Home Free's cover of this song a few months earlier. That's probably where you remember the song from. Both versions are amazing!
Home Free covers this as well. You have seen them do this.
Nobody covered Patsy. There’s a reason.❤️🤘🏻
Leann Rhymes was given the song Blue by the writer because he was holding onto it for the right artist that would do her justice
Home Free did a cover of this song & in the same key as Patsy Cline.
Your comments must have been before you reacted to Austin’s cover😉. Patsy was a masterclass vocalist.
The one, the only, the original…Ms Patsy Cline.
Try Lonely Street & The Wayward Wind by Patsy Cline. Beautiful songs!
She's the original singer of this Willie Nelson song.
You reacted too it months ago when Austin sang it from home free
If you think this is great listen to her sing 🤠 Sweet dreams.. Thank you for doing this one
Willy Nelson did really well and Listen to Lee Ann Rimes as well 😉
The GOAT of country music , the best ever vocalist. A tone and resonance only rivaled by Whitney Houston.
Right after Mom, Anerica & apple pie there's Patsy. 🇺🇸
Up there with Ann, Karen, Eva and Aretha!
Natalie just covered this song and dropped it like 2 days ago. I love this song from everyone. Including Natalie and HOME FREE
Still gotta do her :) patreon is next so no worries :)

Her isolated vocals have been analyzed to be pitch perfect.

Patsy’s voice always had a sweet sadness.
Try Patsy and Willie together singing Just a Closer Walk With Thee.

One of Willy's best songs, given its just desserts by Patsy Cline.
You should hear Homefree's version of this song. They did a cover of this. You will love it. I hope you do it from Homefree.
🔥❤️🔥

Tremendous version of a fantastic song. Patsy tried to emulate the Willie Nelson phrasing. Thanks for the reaction
this song was written by Willie Nelson.
❤️❤️❤️🙏👍👌
Great video you should listen to Angelina Jordan sing crazy! She’s amazing 😻
Это чудесно.
She was still so young when she was killed in a plane crash.
Please cover her last song before the plane crazsh: I Fall To Pieces. Also watch Jessica Lange's tribute movie Crazy.
You covered Angelina Jordan singing this song ♥️🇨🇦♥️
I finally caught you early. Sub from way back at 9k subs. How come you don’t react to any more John and Edgar Winter Albino brothers. Willie Nelson wrote this. Anyway Love me Patsy Cline .
It hasn't been requested lol but I got a plan also to do a day of 8 videos of my choosing I've never seen 💯
Written by Willie Nelson!!!!!
Music breathed
Patsy Cline is wonderful. I love her voice its so enticing. I do enjoy Jessie Reyez version of this song, but Ms. Patsy's original is the best
Did you do the Home Free version?
I did and forgot I didn't recognize it at first but I knew I heard it somewhere
Austen from Home Free even sung this in the same key as Patsy.
try the version by renee geyer
The brand new michael buble ft willie nelson version is incredible!
It does not get any better than Patsy, this was written by willie Nelson, at first she did not want to do it because she said she can't do willie's style but they told her to do it in her style and this became her signature song.
Home free's version? Tho shes the best
willy nelson wrote it and recorded it-different.
Home Free covered this
Have you ever reacted to Home Free's version of this song?
They did and I completely forgot how incredible they did this wow
Home Free did this cover. Check it out
He reacted to it right after it came out by them.
Great voice and you seem to have a nice voice too. Try singing one of these songs yourself while you critique it.
all these singers who try to sing this song , should'nt even try
Only ever matches by Angelina Jordan.
Not jazz, classic western
I hate country music.modern country but love the old blue grass Roy Oberson was great...someone ruined it.
And Patsy Cline is awesome!!!!!
Too many Interruptions and talking
TONE and TIMBRE makes a great vocalist NOT power IMO.
