Emily I would LOVE an Hourglass video. I haven't seen another UA-camr dupe out hourglass products. I've always wanted to try them but I just can't justify the price no matter how many times I hear they are worth it!
So funny I would love an hourglass dupe video as well. Last weekend I spent hours looking for them on UA-cam. I found a few, but they were older, we need an updated one from Emily for sure!!!
Make Up Revolution "beyond radiance" palettes are really good check them out. Also NYX "Angel veil" primer is supposed to be a good dupe, but I haven't tried it myself.

I think the Makeup Revolution stick foundation is a good dupe, but actually better than the Hourglass Vanish Stick personally. And this is coming from a 37 year old whose skin doesn't do well with drugstore foundations as a rule.

This isn't a dupes request, but I'd love to see more "revisiting old eyeshadow palettes" ...I remember this one you did a few years ago and you mentioned the Subculture palette (amongst others, that's just the one I remember), and I haven't heard anything since. Hourglass dupes would be really cool to see. I love how you actually spend time testing everything over a period of time instead of just doing color dupes. It really makes a difference.
NYX soft spoken liquid suede is my favorite and only matte liquid lip I have ever worn repeatedly. The color is amazing and the formula doesn't smear and doesn't feel drying as long as you apply lip balm at the beginning of makeup application.
Dupes videos are often super helpful for those of us with a few allergies as well. After all the likelihood of both companies choosing the exact same ingredients is rather low. So often a dupe will work for me when the original has something that rules it out for me. Thx for all your hard work!

Also a dupe for the Gloss Bomb is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Rosy Future. It looks different in the tube but when you put it on the lip, identical. It’s at Walmart. 👍🏾 💗 dupes. Great job.
Great video! I love the dupe videos. Had to resign from my job in February due to medical issues and won't be able to ever go back to doing what I love. So, our household budget has changed significantly and I find the dupe videos more important than ever. Thank you for being so thorough in your dupe hunting!
Oh my gosh. I am trying to go as long as I can in my job before they are fed up with me. Did you go on disability? Did your job try to work with you? (To make things more comfortable for you to try to get your job done or did they try to find you something else for you within the company to keep you there?). Also, since you are older yet young still (no offense because this is me too. As in Not a spry quick at everything young in their career person) so you can't really retire but need to be able to survive as a family yet also be able to afford your medical care. I'm just scared of what I feel is coming in my near future
@@isuweesa my job was wonderful, I haven't applied for disability yet, doctors feel the biggest issue has not yet been diagnosed and I'm waiting for an appointment with a neurologist. My old neurologist passed away. The issue with work is that my immune system is in horrible shape and nothing is helping enough due to several different issues. I am a Social Worker and have worked with families in their home and at their schools for many years. Due to the bombardment of germs doing this job, I stayed sick always and it was never "just a cold" or anything like that. I also experience severe fatigue and when you throw in the flu, strep throat and/or a plethora of other infections I couldn't seem to get rid of, the fatigue had me to a point that I couldn't really function at work. The neurological symptoms going on recently include vision issues and so, now I can't drive. 2019 has not been a great year so far but I'm a fighter and I will get better or learn better ways to do things I want to do. I really appreciate the time you put into the Dupe videos. So many times I feel like I'm always on the outside looking in because I can't afford the High-end make-up. I just window shop. It makes me feel good to know that I can get that same look with the makeup products I have in my make-up kit.
I really love this. I am a die hard Fenty Beauty Glossbomber lol. I just cant get over how lovely it is. I am happy to see there is a cheaper alternative but for me in UK it isnt easily available and those reselling it are charging close to the cost of the Fenty gloss bomb by the time you add shipping. I have light medium skin and 99% of lip and eye colours look like they blend in on me instead of looking nice as they would on skin colours lighter or darker than mine. Skin colour is a hot topic these days, but almost no one talks about skin types (or hair types).
Fenty has some black lip products I want dupes for. I have yet to find a good black for my lips that drys down, and coats evenly. I’m so happy though that you duped some Fenty! Especially the gloss bomb! That is my jam but it was a treat for me to buy it and no way my bank account can keep purchasing it. Thank you again!

I have all the Charlotte Tilbury dupes from Emily’s video and I LOVE them all!! The only change I’ve made is instead of the Jordana lip liner I use Wet n’Wild in 661D - Lay Down the Mauves :) I just prefer their lip liners! But the Jordana one is definitely closer to CT’s ;)

Ah! As if I needed another reason to want Maybelline matte ink Pioneer! I love the color but I've strayed away from liquid lipstick. For all of us who prefer bullet lipsticks I think Maybelline Creamy Matte in Rich Ruby is a very good shade dupe too, it's a classic deep blood red that's not too warm or too cool, when it wears down the stain left behind is not pinkish or orangey, it still looks red.

Stila Heavens Dew in SilverLake is an exact dupe for Fenty How Many Carats Diamond Bomb. Best part is, it is $13 cheaper and you get more product! I have both and prefer the Stila because it's creamer and adheres to the skin better. The Fenty one ends up everywhere over time.
I'd *love* to see a dupes video or a best of affordable clean makeup! Because of health issues, I've recently had to switch to clean products, and it's getting really expensive really quickly!
I hate to break it to you, but I really doubt you are going to find "clean" makeup at the drugstore. Although, I suppose Physicians Formula has a organic line. Maybe look into that?

I love all of your videos and yours is definitely one of my favorite and most watched channels. It has been for a few years now. I just wanted to tell you how much that I love and appreciate your profound thoughts you take the time to find and have with every video. There are a ton that really touched my heart and/or got me to thinking. I am going to show my 17 year old daughter the one from this video. She is overwhelmed with everything with school because of college. She always doubts herself and starts stressing over tests etc because of it. I think seeing this may help her a lot. I appreciate the dupes! One thing I was taught by a Sephora trainer when I worked there, was to warm the match sticks on the back of my hand with a few swipes before swiping directly on the skin or picking up with a brush for a softer effect. It’s made a huge difference in the application for me, at least for the contour stick. Just a lil tip!
Tbh, the Wet n Wild Photo Finish Foundation had a super similar finish and (almost) the same amount of coverage as the Fenty foundation for me (Fenty slightly more coverage) I have normal to semi-oily skin with little to no dry spots, and they both looked very patchy with redness peaking through and clung around each pore around my nose/cheek area and emphasized each pore. (My pores are quite normal sized and are normally not a problem for me). With the Wet n Wild foundation I used La Roche Posay Moisturizer and Tarte Base Tape Primer underneath and let each layer soak in in between and applied the foundation with a Real Techniques dampened sponge. For Fenty Foundation I used La Roche Posay Moisturizer with Fenty Pro Filt'r Primer and again let each layer set in and applied with Real Techniques dampened sponge. Both were patchy coverage and with the Fenty Foundation in particular, when I applied the Fenty Translucent Finishing powder it completely took ALL the coverage away from my undereyes and my under eyes looked darker then when I started. 😭 I had to wipe my face clean and start again with a completely different foundation that I trust because I had to go to work for 10 hours that day. I'm sad about my first impressions for both foundations since they are both very hyped products and I went in thinking I'd love them, but I'm still willing to take suggestions for primers or moisturizers to use underneath to stop the finish from looking like patchy, porous, tryphobic fears. Lol. Any suggestions y'all?
For the matchstix if you find it dry and pulling, you rub some product on your hand and the product will warm up and grab the product from your hand and THEN put it on and it’s amazing
Excellent job, I love Fenty. To find duoes for the lippie and highlight is PHENOMENAL. Milani has truly stepped up when it comes to the shine and application of their lip plumper formula. Hello, I watched a video with Rihanna's makeup artist and she mentioned a tip to help with the match sticks. She said to rub a little bit on the back of your hand to warm it up first and then use a brush to apply. I hope this helps you use them! 💜🖤💜

I watched something with Fenty's/rhianna makeup artist, I think it was the video she did with Nikki Tutorials. I actually thought it was a great video. She recommends warming up the cream products on the back of your hand prior to applying to the face. And I actually like applying it that way with a brush, instead of putting the stick actually on my face. But, she says if you warm it up on you hand first, then apply the stick straight to your face, she says it makes the blending much easier/smoother.
You're right. I wonder why people apply product directly on the skin when it suppose to be applied differently. I never have a problem with blending using it how you just described.

The one dupe I don't agree with is the lip gloss, only because of Fenty's SCENT. That's what made me cave and buy it even though I know there are plenty of similar shades. Mmmm that peach and vanilla...so yummy and unique! The glosses are definitely worth trying imo for anyone who likes a good scented lip gloss.
I swear by those Maybelline Matte Ink lipsticks! They are a great product for someone that loves beauty products but is limited to the drugstore in rural areas! Glad to know it matches the high end so well!

I have all the Charlotte Tilbury dupes from Emily’s video and I LOVE them all!! The only change I’ve made is instead of the Jordana lip liner I use Wet n’Wild in 661D - Lay Down the Mauves :) I just prefer their lip liners! But the Jordana one is definitely closer to CT’s ;)

Ah! As if I needed another reason to want Maybelline matte ink Pioneer! I love the color but I've strayed away from liquid lipstick. For all of us who prefer bullet lipsticks I think Maybelline Creamy Matte in Rich Ruby is a very good shade dupe too, it's a classic deep blood red that's not too warm or too cool, when it wears down the stain left behind is not pinkish or orangey, it still looks red.

Tom Ford dupes. So many great products, but SO REVOLTINGLY EXPENSIVE.
Stila Heavens Dew in SilverLake is an exact dupe for Fenty How Many Carats Diamond Bomb. Best part is, it is $13 cheaper and you get more product! I have both and prefer the Stila because it's creamer and adheres to the skin better. The Fenty one ends up everywhere over time.
I'd *love* to see a dupes video or a best of affordable clean makeup! Because of health issues, I've recently had to switch to clean products, and it's getting really expensive really quickly!
I hate to break it to you, but I really doubt you are going to find "clean" makeup at the drugstore. Although, I suppose Physicians Formula has a organic line. Maybe look into that?

I love all of your videos and yours is definitely one of my favorite and most watched channels. It has been for a few years now. I just wanted to tell you how much that I love and appreciate your profound thoughts you take the time to find and have with every video. There are a ton that really touched my heart and/or got me to thinking. I am going to show my 17 year old daughter the one from this video. She is overwhelmed with everything with school because of college. She always doubts herself and starts stressing over tests etc because of it. I think seeing this may help her a lot. I appreciate the dupes! One thing I was taught by a Sephora trainer when I worked there, was to warm the match sticks on the back of my hand with a few swipes before swiping directly on the skin or picking up with a brush for a softer effect. It’s made a huge difference in the application for me, at least for the contour stick. Just a lil tip!
Tbh, the Wet n Wild Photo Finish Foundation had a super similar finish and (almost) the same amount of coverage as the Fenty foundation for me (Fenty slightly more coverage)
I have normal to semi-oily skin with little to no dry spots, and they both looked very patchy with redness peaking through and clung around each pore around my nose/cheek area and emphasized each pore. (My pores are quite normal sized and are normally not a problem for me).
With the Wet n Wild foundation I used La Roche Posay Moisturizer and Tarte Base Tape Primer underneath and let each layer soak in in between and applied the foundation with a Real Techniques dampened sponge.
For Fenty Foundation I used La Roche Posay Moisturizer with Fenty Pro Filt'r Primer and again let each layer set in and applied with Real Techniques dampened sponge.
Both were patchy coverage and with the Fenty Foundation in particular, when I applied the Fenty Translucent Finishing powder it completely took ALL the coverage away from my undereyes and my under eyes looked darker then when I started. 😭
I had to wipe my face clean and start again with a completely different foundation that I trust because I had to go to work for 10 hours that day.
I'm sad about my first impressions for both foundations since they are both very hyped products and I went in thinking I'd love them, but I'm still willing to take suggestions for primers or moisturizers to use underneath to stop the finish from looking like patchy, porous, tryphobic fears. Lol.

For the matchstix if you find it dry and pulling, you rub some product on your hand and the product will warm up and grab the product from your hand and THEN put it on and it’s amazing

Hello, I watched a video with Rihanna's makeup artist and she mentioned a tip to help with the match sticks. She said to rub a little bit on the back of your hand to warm it up first and then use a brush to apply. I hope this helps you use them! 💜🖤💜

I watched something with Fenty's/rhianna makeup artist, I think it was the video she did with Nikki Tutorials. I actually thought it was a great video.
She recommends warming up the cream products on the back of your hand prior to applying to the face. And I actually like applying it that way with a brush, instead of putting the stick actually on my face.
But, she says if you warm it up on you hand first, then apply the stick straight to your face, she says it makes the blending much easier/smoother.
You're right. I wonder why people apply product directly on the skin when it suppose to be applied differently. I never have a problem with blending using it how you just described.

More dupes from Emily! Yay!!! I'm definitely going to try some of the Milani ones you recommended, because they're one of my favorite drugstore brands. The one dupe I don't agree with is the lip gloss, only because of Fenty's SCENT. That's what made me cave and buy it even though I know there are plenty of similar shades. Mmmm that peach and vanilla...so yummy and unique! The glosses are definitely worth trying imo for anyone who likes a good scented lip gloss.

I completely agree about the concerns with duping face products. as someone with oily skin i tried out face dupes that never worked for me. So I can completely understand and respect why you don't dupe face coverage products
