Interesting I think you have a valid point. Our kids do know the characters do know the movie and that adds to their enjoyment. Thanks for the video was very good. First time I found you guys.😜👍
Thanks for watching!! We all miss Spash but I’m with ya! This will last a whole lot longer in the minds of the current generation! Thanks for watching!
Sadly, all the problems with all the rides are starting to remind me of a 70's movie called West World. All the people working there were robots. It did not end well.
did the boats always have a lap bar there or is that new? i live near disneyland and was always terrified of splash mountain (log rides in general) because of the lack of any restraints. there were just handles and i was expected to hold myself in the boat with my noodle arms 😭 if the lap bars are new i hope they add them to ours here in anaheim. restraints are the only thing that'll make this ride doable for me cuz i can wrap my arms around it like a sloth lol
If an attraction has this much downtime and evacuations then it's not ready for previews either. An attraction should never have this much downtime, even during previews. There's no excuse for this from any park whether it's Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, etc.
Goddamn, I only been evacuated once from a ride in Universal Studios. I got evacuated twice on test track and I never got to ride it. I only got to ride it like one time and that was not really great either. Thank God I don’t go to Disney anymore, it’s not magical anymoreand honestly, I prefer splash Mountain
I think it has something to do with the timing. They have specific things that are said by the characters at very “specific” times. Without those things being seen/heard, the story will not make much sense. I could be totally wrong here but just a thought.
@@TheSingleRider Ive also heard that theory as well but also I have been told that maybe they haven't be able to test it at not 100% speed (sending the log without guests)
I don’t know if it was weak, but it is very, very basic!! Even my 7 year old could tell me everything that was happening afterwards. No way he could do that after splash mtn. But I’m missing the laughing place right now
What did you expect? This is what Disney has become. I walked away from Disney when George Lucas sold his companies to them and realized that they were not going to do what people had hoped. it was the right decision. Opening a broken ride to guests is not a good way to make a first impression on them. I'm not even going to get into the other issues with this ride. And many others they've opened before they were ready. It's a garbage trash fire and that's what Disney has become. I'd never take my child there...ever!
You're deflecting. Good try. What you really should be focusing on is the fact that this is an unrideable attraction. An attraction that costs $180.00 just to get into the park to even attempt to ride... not even mentioning everything else you have to do to even get into that park. When there's a ride at Six Flags over Georgia that existed before Splash Mountain ever did, that is still operating and by far better than what current day imagineering for the Disney company can accomplish. It's absolutely pitiful. And yes Universal is far superior to everything at WDw...or any other Disney owned park that exists today... period. But you're just a Disney shill doing what Disney shills do. Kissing Mickey's butt. You're a joke, just like Disney.
Yeah. Tech rehearsals still, ya know? It still has a lot of issues to be sure. The first attempt most of the animatronics. Were working and then the 2nd time, none of the “shrunken down” scene ones were. Just felt a little odd there. Plus, Tiana wasn’t dancing and just moving her mouth in the final scene. Yeah, not working 100% But hey, I’m always a fan of an in show exit!
@@TheSingleRiderproblem is, this isn’t just one animatronic that’s stopped, there’s multiple videos of different figures down. Seems very rushed, shouldn’t really have been opened for previews if they have a high percentage of non workers straight out of imagineering..
@@Balootoyoutoo 100% I think the new computer systems are struggling with timing and causing multiple shutdowns maybe? There’s now a cast member and the bottom Of the first lift hill when you first get on the ride and go around the corner. That wasn’t the case with Splash Mtn. The 1st Tiana going up the 2nd hill has specific timing necessary to understand the rides “story” so If that aspect gets off then everything gets off and it could be shutting down. Other thought was it’s intentionally being shut down for training evac procedures. It could be a handful of things or as simple as a poor/rushed product. I’m just hoping they get it together, and fast.
Z@@TheSingleRider I actually think there’s something else at play. It’s not shutting down the whole character, in most cases it’s been the majority of the figure and it seems to be done in sections. I’ve been thinking, amongst the a1000s that have recently been made with the same servodisk technology, they don’t have as much repetitive back and forth motions programmed compared to the a1000s on this ride. I’m wondering wether there’s heat sensors that power down certain sections of the figures to cool down..
@@TheSingleRider I’m hearing this is literally happening constantly daily. Also the drop runs without water most the time and I think there is even animatronic problems. Nobody even really likes the retheme. I think this is gonna be a huge problem for Disney.

Yeah. They’ve always had them here in DW. I don’t remember there being any in Cali because you side behind one another rather than side by side.
Modern Log rides all have safety bars these days. So ya can't sue them and such.
Well because of a death incident at wdw splash mountain they had to add lap bars so guests don't climb out of the log

I like the ADVENTURE part of being evacuated!!! But waiting in a hot boat is terrible.

NEW RIDE like Videogames now.. May need Upgrade
I first saw the Princess and the frog in a special screening at Disney's Burbank Studios during its original run.
Wow! Way cool!
Too much dead space, ride breaking down constantly, animatronics breaking down, and unappealing songs. Not a good start
This is worse than the Star Wars hotel.
Dang. I wish I had the opportunity to experience that. I’m not rich tho so….yeah. Maybe when I hit a million subscribers lol
What is the reasoning for the big drop? SM had a reason.
We goin “down to the bayou” lol 😅
