15:00 I like this game, but I swear it's impossible to defeat the 3rd boss Mandara, I've tried everything, save states, rapid fire and many tries but I couldn't defeat it. How did you managed to pass this stage? I swear it's impossible 😅
@@alakatinga I don’t know how I done it but at 8 years old I clocked (meaning finished) this game everday after school I don’t know why but get home power on SEGA clock it dinner out on my skates (every day ) I must of loved it or something (Ooo the music) 😮
Are you blind or deluded? NES Shinobi doesn’t look almost or nearly identical to the SMS port (version) NES awful, crap, dreadful, garbage, horrible, rubbish, terrible graphics (visuals) SMS 32 colours on screen
This game is an interesting game. I aways find the arcade version a bad and cheap game. But the Master System version actually made Shinobi a better game. They introduced a life system, you're not forced to rescue all the kids, in fact, you're incentivated since they give more power ups(life boost and restore full health) and your weapons/melee are actually different and improved. The only bad thing is the "Game Over" after you beat the final boss(when I was a kid I was like "what?"). I take my hat for however made this version, because its a way better version than the Arcade version in any possible way.
Master System version was way better than the arcade version. You now have a life bar, your power ups continue until you lose a life and there are tons of melee weapons to use as soon as you make progress saving hostage. My only complain is still the awful bonus stage with is never good to begin with. Shinobi for Master System and Asterix for Master System did many improves over their counter-parts that make feel like another game.
Love this game. This series is dear to my heart.
Mordecai and Rigby:"Death Kwon-do!"

Sometimes yes, sometimes no
18:57 - Worst jump in any Master System game. So many game overs here.
Yep. That's normally about as far as I can get in this game.
i hate that jump. i always save my flying ninja magic for that part.
👏
Guys in scuba gear can fly out of the water? Check.
Helicopter can be taken down with 6 throwing stars? Check.

Nice game ending: Game Over. No credits or anything....lol

Shadow Dancer SMS did get a better port 👍 3 or 4 megabits
Shinobi SMS incompetent, lazy, rushed port 👎 1 or 2 megabits

Shinobi arcade version = better audio, graphics, music, sound, visuals
@@jasonlee7816 Doesn't matter if the gameplay is so bad. Master System in comparison is night day difference.
Does it not matter if Shinobi arcade game or SMS version plays badly? explain night day difference?
