Dude, I was trying to decide between this n12 or the n18 for backpacking. You sold me on the n12 when you cut that huge end log at 3:41. No way I need to cut something that big, but now I know it can. Thanks for doing this. I think I'll give my Bahco Laplander to my son.
I love this tool! I like a little smaller one, but this is so handy. This and a opie knife are a great pair. They both need a lanyard and red strip. Put both in your pocket and you've got a great set.
Now up to $30 on Amazon. Opinel used to be abiut the most inexpensive knife on the market, with spectacular performance. I guess the bushcraft community has found out and the price reflects it. I never used to see these knives around. Now everyone has an Opinel of one type or another. Better get a saw before they hit $40.
You need/HAVE to get the old man his own saw. He was like a kid in a candy shop. Great review, so much better than a box opening.

Thanks for showing this demo, Jeff. I think this is a must-have for me. Thanks again and greetings from Pittsburgh. Laura

Excellent video . My no 12 arrives tomorrow . Can you sharpen the blade and do you need to ? Regards from Grimsby England
This guy hasn't posted anything for at least 5 years. I think this channel is dead. Good video though.
boy, that thing cuts....i ama gettin' one...
But can you replace the blade?
The blades are replaceable. There is a UA-cam that shows how to disassemble the lock ring to remove it. I don't have a link.
