I don’t think I've ever seen a dressing room look so comfortable. Something about it just feels used in the right way. It doesn’t look too clean or too glamorous. It seems messy in the same way that a well-loved home is. Not perfect, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s perfectly imperfect, endearingly nostalgic in a way.

Because come from away, Dear evan Hansen, Great comet and Groundhog day were all better than this show. Not saying this show is bad, those shows were just better.
Jack Kelly they weren't necessarily "better", people had just favored them more. A lot of people were really into Evan Hansen since it was basically the new Hamilton. People love shows with character who have depression and anxiety. I feel that Anastasia was just as good as Great Comet too. I think some of the factors on why this show didn't get a lot of wins is because of the wrong timing. They hadn't been running for that long when the nominations were announced. A lot of people hadn't seen it yet, or had even gotten the chance to listen and love the soundtrack. Another factor is probably because people don't really favor shows like Anastasia these days. They like more modern shows now like DEH. The reason Hamilton was such a big success was because of its modern twist. Anyway, my point is. Anastasia was just as great as all the shows you mentioned. It really was just snubbed.
Christy really portrays Anya's resilience & tenacity in such a powerful way that I don't think any other performer could ever compete with.
"Just play." That's ingenuis, such a structured and fresh perspective of acting it seems. It takes away the repetitiveness of 8 shows a week I can imagine, and as she said, brings a happy energy. I'll use this for the shows I'm in

Its so its flat and not bumpy. If you just put it in a regular bun then in that one spot is bumpy even under that wig. If that made any sense lol.
EllerSolsikke even if you have shorter hair, as long as it's long enough to make into a small curl, you do pin curls before you get the wig put on :)

i worked before as a wig assistant. there's actually a strategic way to do pin curls then after that you have to wear two wig caps to tighten it up and to seal the hair properly to remove bumps. Also, theatre wigs are most likely custom fitted.
