So this video came up in my recommended videos. I was like ‘‘I cannot follow yet another gay couple on UA-cam, especially when the video is 26 minutes long”. Yet I got sucked in thinking I would only watch a couple minutes but you were both so entertaining that I watched the whole thing. I was unaware that gays actually met outside of Grindr..lol. We feel like being in a distance relationship you truly have to want to be very deliberate in including your partner all the time and forces you to concentrate on the emotional connection more with the lack of the physical. Brian and Alec, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I saw that you dated for 5 months before you got married. I don’t think that’s such a short time. My husband and I dated (and later lived together) for 10 months total and then we got married. We are about to celebrate our 41st anniversary. So it doesn’t matter how long you’ve dated. When you find the one you’re supposed to be with time is irrelevant.

👍🏾good job on the meet and greet. Glad in the long distance relationship you both got to trvl Back and forth. We didn't have that option. I had to trvl to DR, because he couldn't come to US to visit me until our K1 was approved. Took almost two years.
I'm retired Air Traffic so I had the time to trvl and visit my bebe.
We were very happy about that too! It definitely made keeping our connection easier. We can’t imagine having to wait until the K1 was approved as it would have been supper difficult! We’re happy you no longer have to do that now though and just can enjoy your time with each other 😊

For the cooking and romance believe it or not we both tick those boxes. We both loveeee the kitchen (and eating the finished products 😂) and also use it as a labor of love. With romance I think we still surprise each other with how thoughtful the other can be. Thanks for the love 💜

I’m older than you guys and so his my partner that I met on POF( plenty of Fish ) we’ve been talking for 7 months now while he had been on an oil rig in Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico, like you two we talk every single day we video chatted once before he went out to the Gulf of Mexico! Well first of all its great that you guys have managed to keep that communication going for so long without even meeting each other yet. And even from your words we can feel the excitement and anticipation. If we could give you any advice it would be to try and relax (easier said than done), be in the moment and take it all in, and enjoy laying eyes on each other for the first time. You guys aren’t strangers, so you both must like each other personality wise already, so there’s less to worry about so just be yourself because at the end of the day what you should be looking for anyways is someone who accepts you when you are being 100% yourself.
