Sadly, quite a few routes in Turin are served by buses instead of trams for no apparent reason. But other than that, the tram system is well maintained. Not as good as in Central Europe, but way better than in Rome.
They were rebuilt by Stanga, Moncenisio and Seac, though the original cars from the 1930s were built by Fiat and the transport company of Turin. Their design was pretty similar to the classic "Ventotto" trams in Milan.
