I hail from the same city as Hayley (Christchurch,NZ) & had the privilege one day of speaking to her. I found her to be a lovely young lady who is not trying to fake any phoney "accents"at all while singing as some of you may think. She speaks just like I do & the same as any born & bred New Zealander. I believe she is aiming for clarity in her pronunciation & nothing more. Whatever, she makes a fantastic job of everything she sings & like all Christchurch folk, I am very proud of her.

She is an astonishing singer, her voice floats the high notes so easily. I'm a recent fan, and glad to make the discovery. From reading her Wiki bio, I learned she is a Unicef ambassador and does a lot of charitable work, notably bikes for girls in Ghana, so they can go to school, and cancer fund raisers. Amazing since she is only 23. She happens to be mostly vegetarian, and is such and angel that PETA tried to ride her coattails, but she does not seem to be a fan. We are blessed by her.
This young lady has grown into a very attractive and extremely talented woman. A voice that is so clear and is beautiful to listen to. I think she will have a long and successful career.

Very beautiful voice and song. This song reminded me of the movie Shenandoah. Jimmy Stewart the main actor in a western movie and during American civil war. Jimmy and his family are looking for the younger son. And a tragedy happened to the family while on their way of looking and at the end of the movie. The younger son came home safe with the help of a black young friend. Very emotional movie and this Shenandoah song helped the movie more dramatic and more interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I have had the pleasure of following Sissel through the years, from she started singing with her choir on tv at the age approx 14 years old. Hayley has - as Sissel - this unique quality in her voice that we rarely hear. They both have extraordinary and brilliant voices. :o) I'm having goosebumps all over everytime I hear both Sissel and Hayles sings. I love their voices!

Nice work Squid, Charming and delightful. Hayley takes care of her voice, in concert Hayley sings three or four songs and takes a break of a few minutes while the orchestra play a few instrumentals. Then comes back on stage and sings three or four more and so on throughout the concert seldom singing more than four in each group of songs. Hardly any recording of Hayley compares with hearing her sing live and then you realise sound equipment still has a long way to go to reproduce " REAL HI FI "
