three years ago my father died on the Isle of Mull, on the top of Ben More. I have never been and hardly know anything about the place. It is nice to see you describing it in such a thoughtful way. I will send this to my mother as I'm sure she will appreciate it. Thank you.
Wow, I was there at the time and watched the helicopter. I'm sorry for your loss. I live on the island and it's a beautiful, but wild place. Thanks for sharing your story.
It is absolutely CRIMINAL that you only have 500 subs. This video is one of the reasons I fell in love with UA-cam so many years ago, and I haven't seen anything this captivating, funny, factual and downright entertaining in YEARS. Bravo friend, Bravo. I will share this as much as I can!
travellers like you cross my mind from time to time being a resident of the port town oban. i hope u enjoyed ur time up here. im from coventry but moved up when i was 2, this place and its neighbouring islands has an innate beauty ive been very grateful to grow up with. the people here r precious, some broken but most teeming with love and joy. if ur ever back up here id love a drink n chat
Such a lovely video! I went to mull last summer and camped in the later campsite right by the coast too. I remember going on walks and being amazed and how quiet it would be- you captured how hauntingly quiet it is so well
UA-cam is saturated with travelblogs that follow the same format, but you've managed to create an engaging, original take on the genre. Really good stuff. Keep it up!
I grew up spending holidays on the nearby island coll. Haven't been back in years... this video filled me with weird nostalgia as, when i was a child, i found the stillness insufferable. Now i ache for it.
Fantastic film making and exceptional writing/dialogue. I have of course subbed and shared with my fellow film makers/freinds. Love it. Hope you go far with this channel and I'm very much looking forward to more stories!
You definitely should have more subscribers! I haven't been this hooked on a UA-cam video in a long time. You've got real talent, keep doing what you do
Ok fair enough, this was so good. Your writing is really inspired. I feel like you’re hovering close to the edge of being overly flowery with your prose, but really a great style and confidence shines through instead. All the camera work and editing was class as well. Glad you were inspired to write about Scotland and the isles, true magic out there to be found.
Thanks for the thoughts on the writing, it's been 3 months in the works so has had a lot of re-writes. I'll keep an eye on the levels of flora coming through for the next one ! And aye, I definitely see myself visiting more of Scotland !
Loved the tone and style my man, you should try out the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland if you get a chance, would love to see what you would do with that. You’re going to blow up bro, not a matter of if but a matter of when.
Driving test in October so I will at some point soon have my own wheels. I've got family in Ireland so that's a good shout for a future trip! Cheers for the kind words 👊
Your a good artist, but I don't think you did the beauty and peace of mull justice. Seem like you have an issue with finding peace and enjoying the silence, I look forward to your next vedieo

Sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing. I’m very happy you found something in the work, it’s a beautiful place.
