Thanks for yet another great video.Top class as always . Great to see Lewis and Lexie joining you and I love the way the breeze catches Lexie’s ears sometimes. Hope she got a share of the scotch egg.A.T.B.😊🏴🥾
Ohhh the fact you got to see a deer when you opened the camper door, love that. You're right, the ptarmigan blended right in with those rocks. Great seeing your son Lewis with you, and of course I have to give a big ol' hi!!!, to Lexie. 😍 Beautiful scenery, and I truly appreciate you putting the camera so close to the heather at ground level. Really hot here in Texas so it was great seeing that y'all had it nice and windy with it feeling a bit chilly. Thanks again Murray for another great vid 👋
Cheers Murray, one of your videos is just what the doctor ordered after an hard day at work. Good to see Lewis is also really enjoying the mountains now and becoming a mini Murray 😁, question is, is he a Scot’s egg lad as well 😀
Thanks again Murray. I done this round with my father in law last month and Cairn an Turc was his second munro and we done the full loop over to Creag Leacach in beautiful conditions until we hit the roadside and got caught in a bad thunderstorm. Cheers again
Brilliant as always. I’m just back from an overnight at Shenaval, myself and the dogs are totally exhausted, how you manage to photograph, shoot video, narrate and continuously sound cheerful is a mystery, but I’m glad you do it and share….
Beautifully filmed, Murray, gorgeous colours and scenes, and those ptarmigan... a great capture. Lovely to see you and Lewis enjoying yourselves, and Lexi too.
That's the great thing with the Glenn shee is you can do short days or a beastie and it's easy to cut short a trip if needed. The campervanis a game changer for a hill walker and once you've had one it's hard to go back to a car. Great video Murray .
I couldn't agree more - in fact I spent last Saturday stravaiging around these hills and talked a lot about it being one of the best hill walking areas in Scotland. I often think it gets over shadowed by other areas, but thats maybe to our benefit and keeps it a little quieter ;) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Stayed in tomitoul a few years ago and did some hiking up there, came across a beautiful herd of reindeer up on the some glen but not sure of the area now. Also sponsored a golden eagle which is one of my passions. Beautiful area.
Enjoyed the video as usual Murray. It was nice to see you, your son and of course little Lexi. A nice wee hike with great view's. Can you on the next one mate.
Really enjoyed this relaxing video. I may have said on numerous occasions that Glenshee is my absolute favorite area to stay and as you say seeing the wildlife up there is wonderful. The deer in particular and I remember well going up the pass between the Spittal and Braemar being surrounded by them one evening it was an amazing experience . Nice to see your boy with you on this one. ATB Murray.
Thanks Julie - agree 100% , spent Saturday up there wandering around the hill tops and watched a herd of deer for a while. Loads of wildlife up in these lovely hills :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
When I did this hill, as I approached it there were scores of hares silhouetted on the skyline. As soon as they saw me, they disappeared in quick order. Bill
Nice wee short n sweet hike Murray. Thought my dogs were gonnae explode at Lexi there but there all asleep 😁 Knackered after being away on holiday for a few days
Beautiful scenery especially with the heather No rain but a brisk wind..not too bad..keeps away the bugs I like how you shared your Scotch egg with Lexi The bug repellent/ light give a nice glow in the van Great video and take care 🇨🇦❤️
It is a cracking area - spent Friday up there wandering aimlessly about - usually see big raptors round about - a great great hill walking area - underestimated IMHO :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Inspirational, we really liked our last visit to Glenshee, limited ability means walking low and looking up. We have done the hills around the ski centre fantastic place, might have to look for a weeks holiday around Braemar. Keep up the great content 👍
9:57 "Hill of the Boer"? Who was this South African Dutchman? Boar maybe more likely?😊 Thanks Murray for getting me up on the Scottish Hills again. Always enjoy your videos.
great video! your little Lexi is cute! If you think your campervan needed a tidy then you haven't seen how chaotic my van is! Watching the video I wondered if this was the hill that I climbed about 40 years ago and didn't get the name of it.
Did wee Lexie spy those ptarmigan? If so, how did she react? Thayer were sure neat to see. Is your lad as excited about Scotch Egg as you are? 😆 I guess that ski hut wouldn’t do you much good in a storm now, eh? Keeping track of your son’s munros for him? Looked like a very pleasant day out. Cheers, and ATB!
Thanks Erin - wee Lexie doesn't miss much but she knows not to chase them!!lol As for scotch eggs, my son has lots of allergies and unfortunately one of those is eggs!! so he has never tried the delights of a scotch egg(which makes me sad , because he doesn't mind a pork pie, however he is definitely a sausage roll man!!lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
