I had no idea Harriet Tubman had such an incredible life. I was only ever told about the Underground Railroad, never about her time as a spy or a soldier. Simply amazing woman, why isn't she on the $20 bill yet?

Harriet Tubman was amazing - smart, courageous, and tireless.

As a non-American, the civil war is my favourite war to learn about and this video has done such a great job of teaching me about arguably the most important and yet least talked about perspective: the black American one. Thank you so much for the great video.

I can't deny that I cried watching this. So much truth that people in this country deny even today was revealed during that war. And it was nice to hear a tale of optimism and struggles rewarded after the horror that was the Dred Scott decision two weeks ago.

Having recently talked about the situation of Black Civil War soldiers in my Civil Rights class this video seems really well written. Also the use of the genuine confederate flag even for a short time in editing is really helpful.

Find finally discovered my great great granddaddy granddaddy was in the 69th United States infantry Out of Louisiana.
Unfortunately born and raised in Boston Massachusetts you know the young white kids would say my family fought in the Civil . Well guess what mine did also so I am deeply proud of the 69th United States colored troop out of Louisiana,, I salute you private "Thomas Harris" And he survived!!!!

Has there been an epic biopic about Harriet Tubman? Because if not, it's long overdue.

You’d think Thomas Jefferson and George Washington would be just a footnote,
Compared to the heroics of Harriet Tubman.
