for me, part of the fun of being a Heartland fan is enjoying the fantasy of Alberta ranch life and being around horses and amazing horse people. Watching “Georgie” grow up over the years and evolve into an Olympic class rider with the total support of her Family is part of it. And to see Alisha Newton playing Georgie again after a long hiatus is also a part of it. I would love to see her ride again.
Georgia is a plus for the show get rid Peter and lou

Georgie is an intuitive and beautiful young woman. She has come to be an important part of the family and has been more stable than Lou or Peter. But now she has grown to pursue her own dreams and truly would only come back to visit. It’s too a minor a role for any actor to bother with. But the writers could at least give the illusion that she is in touch with the family by phone….even if we don’t see her.
I do not think she will be returning. One thing I don’t like about Heartland is that they don’t always handle people leaving the show well. Caleb’s wife is another example. She has been missing for a few seasons. Just my observation and opinion ☺️

Yes, I can agree with you on these points but I guess it's hard when the cast members choose not to return and the writing team struggles to dissolve the character.
I certainly hope she will return and FULL time! Can certainly build a special love story between her and Quinn. Would help soften the blow of Ty leaving!!
Every time the writers write a story line duplicates Ty and Amy it never work just like Georgie and Quinn they want them to be just like Amy and Ty it never work and than shove Georgie with Lou and the bad story line . I think Georgie doesn’t want to come back because her role it’s just filling the number with storylines.
Easy ... The show should follow Georgie just enough to document her growing frustration with High level show jumping competition, and the inescapable fact that her boyfriend is destined to run his Dad's operation. She returns to Heartland for a new beginning.

I think Georgie is moving on .. I agree there is no plot for her and Quinn . She has outgrown heartland much like Graham did moving on with her career . Which is fine in my book .. she/Quinn could never replace Tamy character in the series or if it happens Famy, they have some chemistry going on and we only seen them together one episode . Wait and see … just a thought :)
I love the character of Georgie. I thought her entrance to the show in Season 6 was a great addition. Personally speaking, I do like the character and wish she'd return in some way. But after following Alisha Newton on Instagram, I feel like it's highly unlikely that her return will produce any longevity with regards to story lines because of her other acting projects. I think they need to do a couple shows in Florida with Georgia as the focus and have the heartline people visit her watching Amy right across the field is getting old I need to spice it up let’s see what Mallory‘s doing let’s see what Lisa does when she’s away there’s so many other stories they could use to expand and not just be on the heartland ranch with Amy riding a horse across the field

I think Georgie will be back in season 16. She may only video call home. Or fly in for one of those meetings with Quinn. It’s about time for Quinn to buy another horse from Lisa. Maybe even help Katie with her troubles about fitting in at ❤️Heartland❤️.
She hasn't been yet, not in the 12 season so far, that leaves and only 4 episode left in 16.
I think Georgie will do remote appearances , if any at all, like Ty did in Mongolia.
Wouldn't it be something that GEORGIE became a Trainer for Prince Ahmeds Olympic Team, as Georgie goes back to Heartland for Lou and Peters Wedding, Ahmed shows up and causes all kinds of problems for Georgie and Amy until Jack and Tim step in with Jim Parker. You say Amhed would cause problems with Amy!!! Amy would jump into his arms! She's a Fleming! Amhed returns and Amy would soon forget about Ty! That's the way she was. She liked the idiot guys.(Jesse, Caleb, Chase, Chase, Chase, Jeremy, Amhed). Ty never had a chance he should have dumped her back in season 2. Oh and the question "Georgie" enjoyed her in the early seasons not so much once she hooked up with Quinn. She added an attitude to the show that kept Jack a hopping! Yes William I know you are a die heart Amy fan and she can do no wrong and that's fine. I was a die heart Ty fan as he was the best actor on Heartland! The show went off the rail with Graham's departure. Just my opinion! But continue to enjoy the soap opera Heartland is!

I think they should bring Georgie back. Just like Lou and Amy are sisters they can play on Katy and Georgie's relationship. If Peter and Lou remarry she should be their. They could have her marry Quinn. They could have her work with Amy at the youth center helping kids just like her. I think they could get several episodes with a very popular character. Don't forget she has a great relationship with Jack also.
How come her and Adam couldnt have made it work over time? Some folks just can't see outside their box.

She might have been a Brat when she was younger but compare her as an adult to Lou and Amy...they are pretty bratty...both with 'it's all about me' attitude. Their treatment of Lisa was shoddy and everything revolves around their wants and needs...Lou being the worst of the two.
Actually she played the role of foster child very well. She had a very rough childhood. I think she adjusted well considering all she went through in the foster care system. I love the relationship she had with Amy. I think being together really made a difference for them both; especially since Lou wasn't exactly a role model parent.
