For infant mode it says to pull and tension the seatbelt, but how do you keep that tension? It just goes loose?
Is there an easy way to put the child in without the diagonal seatbelt getting in the way?
I have a question. What happens if the seat belt straps come off my daughter's shoulders because she moves? Any recomendation or accessorie for a solution?

They must have updated the manual because loading the car seat into the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxIG_q-ZqgbzYXwbeApK3AybegDUy4f2fF double stroller was mentioned in the manual (unlike previous comments/reviews). The undercarriage basket is quite large but it is difficult to access when the back rider is reclined, however my toddler usually doesn't fall asleep in the stroller these days so I haven't had an issue. I was amazed by how smooth the ride was and how easily I was able to maneuver the stroller in small spaces. My toddler loves that she can see her baby sister (see photo) during the ride :) Plus you can't beat the price! I have only loaded it once in my car and it is fairly light but my mother wouldn't be able to lift it in.
0.54 - How? How do you change it between the four settings?
This is a really really poor video. You are telling parents what needs to be done but not telling HOW to do it. For example, you have to adjust the incline to 4 for rear facing. But you don't tell how to adjust, we have to figure out the red button for ourselves.

Can you rear face this seat when using as group 1 mode? I’m a bit confused. I don’t drive but asked for advice on a seat to keep for taxis and lifts and this one was recommended 😁
Yes ! Can rear face until 18kg , recline can’t be adjusted in RF mode but it’s no bother . My 2 yr old still RF in this (not our main seat) . Hope this helps
Where is the demonstration for top tether?
My little one is approaching 9kg, can I still have it rear facing (as it says have it rear facing as long as possivle) and if so does it need to align with the blue arrows or do I move it to the red?
Yes, you can rear face until 18kg
My baby has more than 9kg. So I removed the protection up to 9kg. When I put the seatbell through the side spaces do I put it before putting the baby there, so I continue to put below his body or I put the baby first and put the seatbell above his waist?
I know 2 even 3 yrs still with wedge and body insert. Joie should change it as not every 9 kg baby will need it removed
Can you advise as to why the left strap is always a lot looser than the right one? I do everything as per the instructions, however the right strap is extremely tight, while the other one is relatively loose. Nothing seems to work.

I had the Joie Gemm infant car seat, and I found when that happened I had to adjust how baby was laying, like she was sat slightly more on one side which stopped the harness from tightening properly. I’ve only just got the stages so not sure if it’s the same thing but worth knowing☺️
Can this be used in airplanes for a under 2 as a safety seat?
Hi there! stages is not certified for use on an aircraft. If you are interested, you can check out our other seats: gemm, i-gemm 2 and Juva which are :)

Yes you can! As the headrest is raised, the harness will automatically adjust with it :)
Does this car seat has an isofix in it?
Hi there! It does not - the Stages uses the vehicle belt for installation.
Is it safe to use it rear facing if we don't have the blue clip?

In this video the seatbt has a twist in it. I'm sure that isn't supposed to be there?!

Hello, The video shows how to loosen the harness at 4:34, this technique for loosening is the same for all three modes.
Can this be installed using a lap belt only?
No.
Will a 14 month old need the wedge in the insert and the head rest still on the insert or do i remove it all and keep the side and bottom pads to the insert in?
Insert needed, take the head rest of the insert! It should last till 2/3 years

Hello, The Stages car seat does not have the ISOFIX Installation, but the Stages fx does have the it.
It's challenging and doesn't seem safe to install it in the car using your method. The process appears unsafe, and after spending 2 hours trying to follow your instructions, it doesn't seem logical. I will attempt it again tomorrow, but if I still have doubts about its safety, I may have to reconsider. Ensuring a child's safety is paramount, and the current method doesn't feel practical.
