@@namn59 Little correction, JDMs don't have VINs, the JT2AE85 code belongs to the DX USDM model which is an AE86 with the 4A-C (Basically is an SR5 with less features and options)
the paint does look nice. I have an 84 just like that but need to rebuild the carb I'm guessing. but I'm sure it'll be more work now that it's been sitting for so long. Also rust became an issue even though I'm in So Cal. leaves made their way into fenders and trunk and mixed with rain. :(. also mine is 4-ac
The price for these cars seem to be settling down however you are still looking at $7500 for an SR5 with i'd estimate the average for a solid GTS to be 15K and up. Hatch's usually command at least 20% more over coupes....just my .02
@oldrcrich thanks! Another question... is it best to find one inland than buying one along the coast lines? Sea water and sea air eat up older cars underneath the carriages yes?
It's an 85...1985...my bad Covid had my head messed up LOL
great car man, hope you guys enjoy it. Those wheels are so nice.
Itsuki moment 🥲

Man I am still on the hunt for a Hachi! This gives me hope!
Congrats on the car!
Congrats to you guys! I look forward to the updates on upgrading the #unicorn mobile.

My Son is 15(2023) and its his dream car.. he wants to save his money to buy one outright, what price range is too much or just right?

Do you know any good shops in socal that might do a full restoration on a ae86?
Unfortunately I’m not aware of any ae86 specialists. Sorry
I’m jealous 👍🏻
When are you going over the LEVIN ?
I'm slacking....I'll get this up soon. Thanks!!

I’m in
Project car party
There is a lot stuff missing on the GTS…too me looks like a SR5
