I spent 15 years in various marching bands (middle school through 4 years in a Navy fleet band) and I can tell you there is NOTHING like college marching band. I still remember those first game of the year pre-game shows in front of insane crowds (80k max back at my alma mater) . If you're a pre-freshman reading this and you're not sure about it in the fall - do it.
