Korean or Japanese risotto for the cheapest of jokes of course. We both know that you asked a rethorical question to give us some attention but I appreciate the effort.
@@sharlainjapan I stand with anything with risotto. More serious though I would not mind some travelling around Korea. Something with Buddhist temples and/or skying.
When I was in Tokyo in Nov 2017, an elderly man approach me as I was looking at the map in a subway station and offer to guide me to my destination. I took him up on his offer, he had a satchel with maps and a pen. We talked a bit on our way. He told me he retired and do this volunteer work to practice his English language with foreigners as well as getting him out of the house and exercise by walking around (he was a fast walker as well). For doing this volunteer work, he got free subway pass. I must say I approve of this volunteer program.
Himeji is a great place. Statues down the Main Street. Wide avenues that used to be moats, crows that sound like ducks, a castle that is both beautiful and a strategic masterpiece and is lit up at night and a great garden that is relatively new but reproduces many types of old gardens. It deserves a longer visit.
A Sharla upload is already a great thing. But a Sharla upload which features the Journey as well as the one and only Risottoro, now that is truly wonderful.
I'm very fun when Share said【Ah~ shachihoko ne~】,occhan was so surprised to share's fluent japanese talking😁 シャラさんがおっちゃんに『あ~しゃちほこね~』って言った瞬間の驚きの顔が面白かったな😁
I have to say if I ever went to Japan, i would want Ryotaro to be my guide. He always seems to be having fun, making things fun. That's a quality I can appreciate.
Hearing you speak Japanese always amazes me. I hope to be half as good as I continue studying, and practicing. I am still in the vocabulary stage, and at one point learned to tell time... but I will get this, and use it when I visit again. Rural Japan is my focus. That bridge gave so many San Francisco vibes. Your videos give me so much to look forward to.
Yesss I got San Fran vibes here too! Best of luck with your Japanese studies, the beginning is the hardest but it gets a lot more enjoyable as you continue through it :)
Same! It's because of Sharla that I decided to learn Japanese (: I've been studying about a year now and it's really fun to be able to understand some of the things she says!

You can ask anything you do not understand. People here will help explain in simple and easy to understand English (hopefully). Maybe Sharla might even explain it in Japanese for you.
Your Japanese is literal beauty at its finest to listen to! You inspire me so much to continue and peservere in my language studies! Thank you so much for everything you do and all the hard work you put into it

Wow, tough question because Ryotaro is such a fun guy. I belive that what ever you 2 do will end upp great. Ryotaro is a great guide, fun doing challenges with and more, so there you have 2 safe cards at least.

The view from Roccosan is fantastic. A Japanese friend offered to drive us to the cable car station on our way up, we thought great, saves us a train ride, but she drove us to the top station, we didnt realise until we got there, just thought it was a long way up !!
Watching Chris's videos, it's crazy to only see him appear in the background!! Loved watching this channel too. Hopefully I'll be visiting Japan one day.
Himeji Castle, home to the great Cat Emperor, most noble of all kitty kind. It must have been such a great experience meeting him in the flesh! 😂 Another great video, as always! Keep up the amazing work!
Here in the Philippines, we have have a snack similar to the karintou. We call. it "pilipit" (lit. "twisted" because it looks like one) and there are 2 versions: one is somethinh hard like the Japanese kind; the other is more soft, made with flour from rice or sticky rice, coated with sugar and then deep-fried.
