This JL is pretty likeable based on their Hall of Justice hologram dialogue. Shame there's no flashbacks showing them working as a team pre mind control.

@@frostbite2179 and that would have made for a far better game. Imagine playing as batman slowly getting ever so closer to the edge of sanity and brutality only to be eventually brought to reason by the other heros.

I just don't see why they need to use the arkham name for something so incredibly unrelated ya know? It feels like they used it just to get people interested.

I fully agree. For whatever odd reason, mainstream companies just don’t know how to handle god-tier characters that can fly. But when you look at certain indie games, they get it just fine.
It’s an authentic shame we haven’t gotten a proper Superman game since Superman 64 and Superman Returns.

So the WB/Rocksteady dumb idea was to make a game where you kill the league instead of making a justice league game where we play as each hero ?
I'm so torn on the Justice League's portrayal, pre-brainwashing. On one hand, it does have vibes of the Super Friends, in what's supposed to be an M-rated game, so it kinda clashes a tiny bit - but I admit it would clash more, if I wasn't aware that it's meant to be part of museum exhibits, that kids can interact with.
On the other hand, I would've loved to see a museum like that as a kid. Having the heroes saying that "I" could be a hero, just from the little acts of kindness and good will in my day-to-day. *_(Sigh)_* Why couldn't Rocksteady stay uncorrupted long enough to give us a [good] Justice League game, or at least the Superman game they initially planned - while also letting us see the other heroes in action?
I'm not quite heartbroken at this point, but the potential that was in here, and *got wasted* for the sake of agendas, "progressive" narratives, and appealing to Twitter, it definitely saddens me, not gonna lie. And even then, the blow wouldn't have been so hard is this was just an Elseworld's game, instead of taking place after Gotham Knight, and _all the _*_sacrifices_* Bruce has to make.😔
A supervillain attacking a group of superheroes on a festive day dedicated to them that leaves the heroes out of the picture for a while…sounds like another game I’ve played once
I love how the Hall of Justice has no security measures and they have dangerous equipment just sitting inside of cheap glass display cases.

I don't give a damn what rocksteady says, this game is just an alternate storyline that is adjacent to the arkhamverse. And it wouldn't be the first time. The arkham comics aren't canon, Assault on Arkham isnt canon, Arkham VR isn't canon, and Arkham underworld isn't canon. Let's toss this one in the bin too.

Studio is pretty much different now anyway. The guys in charge of the Arkham games left last year

It's not his last performance. Kevin Conroy has 2 posthumous voice roles. 1 of them will be BTAS Batman in Justice League: Crisis on Infinity Earths Part 3 and the other will be in Batman: Caped Crusader cartoon.

My 2 cents Story sucks, banter is boring, Harley is creepy, music is lame...but Gameplay is fun and controls well. Minus the occasional live service bugs and crashes.
Here's hoping the Wonder Woman game will be better

Gameplay wise it's a perfectly fine third person shooter with solid traversal mechanics. Boss fights pretty mid despite fighting the JL being the selling point.

So depressing... We already live through a dark age, and we can't even get a fun Justice League video game made by Rocksteady. The most powerful superhero who is the flash is the only one not infected and is trying to fight braniac meanwhile boomerang is still trying to hurt/kill him which would only make the objective of stopping braniac harder….makes perfect sense great writing rocksteady

That and Lego DC Super Villains putting the villains in the limelight against an evil “Justice League”. Could’ve made a Crime Syndicate or Justice Lords story, maybe even an elseworld where Bruce
succumbed to the Joker blood, but they had to use post-AK Batman…even Gotham Knights treated Bruce better. They wanna treat Origins as non-canon? Two can play at that game then.

I like to think this is just another one of those branched timelines that Arkham just has so many of like the comics and the assault on Arkham animated film this is the modern rocksteady branched timeline and the Arkham we all know and love is the Paul Dini and sefton hill branch which is the core of the mess that is the Arkham timeline is this all convoluted and should this game just be in its own little universe yeah probably

Deathstroke's rarely a member of the Squad, but he is supposed to be coming to this game later in the year.
I'm about 5 or 6 hours in.... I don't think its the worst thing in the world. I think the gameplay can be fun...... but ONLY in small bursts. Its not something like the Arkham trilogy where you can play the whole story in a single sitting because it's just that good. This is not that. BUT the gunplay is unique like flying around, dodging, sliding, etc. it's not something I've seen from any other game even though it has tons of elements from LS games.
But the entire premise of killing the justice league is just awful to me. Maybe I'm not far enough in.... but.... damn I wish they'd at least show more of our favorite heroes.... being heroes....
The Flash saving Harley was my favorite moment so far. Also being literally hunted by Batman was terrifyingly cool.
I think this game will get more hate than it deserves because it is not what fans wanted, but it's still an impressive AAA game.
This game so far has been pretty awful. I like the callbacks to the arkham games but then all it reminds me of is how good the arkham games are over this. The music ques and being hunted by arkham batman is cool as hell. But this game is still like a 3 out of 10 so far.
After Bruce faked his death why/how is WayneTech still around? Surely it'd be liquidated to pay for all the damage Bruce caused. The more I think about it Bruce faking his death wouldn't help much, any prosecutor looking into Batman and his allies would surely be able to figure out who Robin, Nightwing and co were and they'd be hauled in as well as Gordon and Lucius for aiding him

John was both an Architech and a Marine. Kyle Rayner was a freelance comic artist, it's sort of referenced in Superman the Animated series when he does art work for the Planet.

Conscription means to be forcefully enlisted for a state service. (e.g. The Army) so basically to build up Brainiac’s army
At 36:17 When she says they are being rounded up for conscription she doesn’t mean that they were rebelling but rather that Brainiac captured them to create his army.

No they were talking to kids (breaking the fourth) when they were on the buildings far outside the hall of justice . Watch again and you'll catch it.
