People really do forget that parents got their own shit going on. Children rely so much on parents emotionally to be there for them but who's there for the parents who do they turn to for support?? appreciate the talk Tim. much needed wise words for teenagers to gear

Sorry that happened to you guys Tim.
Same thing happened to my parents. except worst.
They got held hostage and bashed and dragged around the house as they turned it up side down trying to look for money etc.
I had to clean up all the blood. It was traumatic and my parents till this day (it was 3 years ago) are still suffering from PTSD and freak everytime they go to the front door cause thats where they got rushed and attacked.
Things can get replaced and I can understand why people get so desperate that they gotta do what they gotta do. But I wouldnt wish what happened to my parents on anyone.
They broke their hearts, spirits and mind that day and thats something that takes alot of time and extra love to heal and that goes beyond money sometimes.
Anywho sorry to make it negative but look after your parents man. I know you will and it already seems like they are already on the way to getting over this very soon.
    peace love and skit :)

This is by far my favorite video that you've ever done. Way to set a great example for the kids.. and set the bar for how parents should be treated despite the culture/generation difference. Great to see you put humor aside for a sec and show vulnerability. I wish you and your family a million lifetimes of happiness 💕

I'm so sorry your parents had to go through that Tim. I once had my hotel room broken into and even though they only took monetary stuff and everyone was okay, it felt like someone violated me and it was scary. The important thing is that your parents are safe because items can be replaced. :)

Loved this Tim! My mom is a single parent and raised me by herself for most of my life (my father passed when I was young due to cancer) and she always put me first. No man, job, or circumstance came before her kids. She gave us her all and sometimes your friends or significant other can make u forget about your very first relationship and that's with ur parents. Without them we wouldn't be who we are. That's a bond that can never be broken. Friends, boyfriends, girlfriends all can come and go but ur family is forever. Thanks for shedding some light on how we can always take the time to show them we appreciate them.

Last part of the video really spoke to me, recently lost my dad and my immediate thoughts were "I should've spent more time with him". My dad reminded me of Tim's dad a lot and I always noticed what a great relationship they had. I always said to myself that eventually, I'd get like Tim and his pops. Eventually never happened and I regret it a whole fucking lot. He lives through me now so the best thing for me to do right now is to go hard in his name. RIP POPS LOVE YOU

Tim I love the way you take care of your parents. I revolved my life around my family for years. My mom was always sick. Honestly I don't remember a day with her being healthy but you know what I wouldn't change it for the world because I lost my mom 2 months ago and I know that I did everything I could for her. I stood by her through everything till the end. #Family

Respect is endless for you, Tim. Thank you for using your platform to reach out to as many viewers as you can about something as difficult as what your family is going through. It's something that needs to be said often, especially to the young ones out there: parents. are. people. too. The earlier they realize it, the better. I'm an only child and literally cramped my neck nodding to every single point you made. Independence is what we all strive for growing up, but we can't forget WHO brought us, sacrificed FOR us up to that point of adulthood.
Sending prayers, love, and aloha your way, brother. Super glad you're all safe.

That's awful! My house also got broken into about like 2 weeks ago and they stole all my moms jewelry she had for like over 20+ years and our electronics and money that we had. What was worse is that after the event we didn't feel safe to be in our house, we just felt violated. We're slowly getting back to normal I guess. But we have invested in a security system so hopefully this doesn't happen again. Sorry to hear that Tim, hope your parents are doing well!
